Any tips for the Very Merry Mickey's Christmas Party?
I bouhgt tickets for Myself - 3 Kids (9,4, soon to be 2) and My Sitter that
will traveling with us ...
But after reading some other comments and reviews on the Internet about how crowded it was and that most people would not go again, I've become a little concerned! Just curious to see what other people opinions are and what are some tips for that night. We're going on Dec. 15th -- The next to last Party for the Year, I'm sure it will be Sold Out!

You have to remember that everyone's idea of crowded and what their comfort level is will vary greatly. Some folks can't cope unless the park is nearly empty. Just keep that in mind. We went to the very last MVMCP last year and were prepared for the worst. We had heard all the horror stories on the Dis and other Disneycentric message boards. We were very pleasantly surprised. We have attended many MVMCP in the past, but never on the last night. It was a dream. We walked right on all the rides and had a wonderful experience. I do chuckle when I hear other people who went that same night say how terrible it was, because it was anything but that for us. Perhaps we just were always in the right place at the right time. We did not have any plan of attack, we simply did what we wanted, when we wanted to. We watched the parade, the fireworks, stopped for hot chocolate and cookies at the Saloon and did character meets as well. We conquered everything in the park that we had wanted to along with doing all the requisite rides. We did not get there at 4pm like we normally do either-I think we were closer to 6pm for our arrival and it still worked out. Just go and enjoy yourself, you may be stressing needlessly as I did last year.

Thanks for the Tips! That makes Me feel a little better ... I suppose I'll prepare Myself for the Worst and then no matter what happens I won't be disappointed! I've been to Disney During the Peak of Florida's Spring Break --- It can't get much worse than that! Besides Easter and Christmas ...
We'll see ... I have no doubt that We will have a Great time regardless!

Quick Question ::

Did You see the early or late parade?

We did the late parade.

I have to add we are doing the last MVMCP again this year. If it were crazy crowded and miserable, we would not repeat the process.

Went last year in Dec (15th - 20th) got our MVMCP tix ahead of time & the night we went ended up selling out. Tried to go back again for seconds a few days later (we had that much fun) & again the night was sold out. Still for me, I was able to do alot.

Now, you're talking to someone who was only able to go to WDW during Spring Break in the past so this to me was no problem.

I had no real long wait in any line & had plenty of time to take pics, sip hot chocolate, eat lots of sugar cookies  and enjoy the parade.

My schedule is pretty flexable now with the kids all grown & out of school...I'll be there 3rd week in Nov. this time so we shall see. Again, it's all what your comfort level is.

Thanks for asking this question! I was getting worried about all the crowd reviews for the party. We're going to the first one in November, so I hoping it will be a slow night! :rotfl:

We're planning on the going to the first one, too! We're playing it by ear though--we'll firm up our game plan when we have a better idea of the weather. We've had a varied November experience--everything from daily HEAVY rains to perfect Florida fall weather. Oh and one year it was absolutely CHILLY--but I can deal with chilly better than driving rains:goodvibes

See you thereprincess:

I think if we have rain everyday I will cry EVERYDAY! Last time we went down it was late Sep/Oct and it rained everyday for a short period..I was VERY hesitate to buy them now but did for Nov 17-- I will cry if it down pours or rains at all!!!!;)I also would rather deal with the cold (or chilly) then rain!

Thanks to Everyone for Posting! I really appreciate it!
I can't wait ... This will not only be our 1st VMMCP -- It will be the 1st time that any of us have seem the World decorated for Christmas!
My Kids and Myself can't stop talking about it!
