I'm sure this has ben asked before but I can't find the thread. I know about the tipping of servers and extra phone card gifts, but didn't go to Palo our first cruise and plan to do all the Palo things on our 7-day Western in May. So---do we tip extra at Palo dinner, brunch or high tea?? I'm working on my budget for the extras now that the cruise is completely paid for!! Yea!!

I plan to put aside in separate envelopes the regular tips and port parking. Just wanted to know if I need to allocate for tip $$ for Palo's (or is that included in the $10 per person charge).

Thanks,
Karen

I don't know what the guidelinea are,but last week for a table of 2 we tipped $20 for brunch and $40 for dinner.

Supposedly $5 of the charge for Palo is for the server. However, it is totally appropriate to add a tip there. When thinking of the amount, consider what a similar meal would cost and calculate about 15%.

While we are told that $5 goes to the server, there have been rumors that it doesn't.

We also tipped 20.00 for brunch and 40.00 for dinner. This was for 2 of us. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!
