Tipping hotel staff?

I know at most hotels you should tip some of the staff (bellhop is a good example) but is that needed in Disney? Or should we still tip?

what kind of question is that? LOL Of course you should still tip- the Disney Cast Members do their job above and beyond- I would think they would like to be tipped!

Well it's Disney and I wasn't sure if they even accepted tips or not. You just never know with a kids resort thing like this, that is why I asked. But I will be sure to tip them, thanks.

We always tip, it is a line item in the budget, but I also have to have good service.

You can tip anyone at Disney but unless they are in a tipped position (bellhop, valet, rest. servers) they have to refuse it....3 times. If you insist they will accept it and really appreciate it

If you can't or don't feel comfortable tipping someone (in a non-tip position)who has gone above and beyond for you then fill out a comment card and make sure to mention the CM by name and position - it all goes in their "permanent record" and they do get rewarded

Who we tip:
- Valets
- Bell Hops
- Housekeeping
- Waiters/Waitreses at sit down restaurants and poolside
- Anyone who bring something to your room for you (towels etc..) *with exception below
- Spa services

Who we don't tip:
- Front desk people
- Anyone at a quickserve restaurant
- *Room service delivery people (they already added 18% gratuity)
- Pool towel people
- Lifeguards (unless they save the life of myself or someone in my family)
- Any CM in the parks (except VIP tour guides and waiters/waitresses at sitdown restaurants)
