We're traveling to WDW in early June to celebrate the finalization of adoption of our 5 year old foster daughter. She's a girly girl and super excited to see the princesses in their home.

I'd like to do something special to commemorate the trip. We do have ADR for the Castle. Anything else you can think of?

thank you! :lovestruc

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the big package, with photo shoot?

I'd also put that as a "celebration" on your reservation.

Congratulations!!!! princess:

I'd also suggest taking her to afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian. They do have a princess tea, but we've always enjoyed the regular afternoon tea with the kids.

First of all ...CONGRATULATIONS! What a wonderful thing. Not only giving a little girl a family but taking her to WDW. Awesome! As for things to do, my DD has been at that age and she loved the BBB as well. We did the hair/makeup/nail package and brought a dress from home. It was around $50 and was one of her favorite things. I also suggest adding that celebration to your reservation. Another idea is maybe ordering a special dessert....maybe a little cake? I have a friend who adopted a son. Every year on the anniversay of the adoption, they have Johnny day to celebrate the adoption. They also have the Wishes Dessert Party. The Akershus princess breakfast is wonderful too. Enjoy yourselves. I'm sure it will be a magical vacation! :cool1::banana::yay::cheer2:

Stop by GS in MK and ask for the "Celebrating" pins for all of you to wear as a family.

Definately stop by one of the stores and purchase a picture frame with the heading "A Whole New World" and then put your family picture in there. Since you are going to Cinderella's table you can do the Bippity Boppity Boutique before your reservation so she is dressed like a princess for it. Also calll Disney Dining and make sure that they add this celebration to your dining reservation for that night!:thumbsup2

When you get home you can put together an album with her with a photo album from WDW and she can keep it in her room. That way she will have it for always as a memory:love:

Congrats!! (Will you adopt me too? :P jk) BBB would be super fun--if you didn't want to spend as much money, bring a dress from home and a tiara, glitter hairspray and a bit of mommy's make up and make your own princess. You daughter could get her face painted instead of doing the whole BBB experience.

Once you get to WDW, ask some cast members/ tell them, why you are there--CM love to celebrate with their guests so they want to make this trip as exciting and wonderful as possible. If you ever wander about anything--ask--worst they can say is no.

Again Congratulations. Many blessings on your new family <3

The princess lunch in norway in epcot was a big hit with our 2 girly girls. 4 princesses visit during your meal!

I would (if you are staying on site) add it as a celebration on your reservation (you can phone or do it online).

We are celebrating our new family (ds5 and dd6) in August and BBB is the biggie for my daughter (then eating at the castle). For ds5 it's meeting Lightning McQueen (seriously, all he talks about, driving me nuts).

They are just excited, period. It will probably be pretty special without too much extra effort on your part (I hope)!

You can also go to DTD and visit the personalized T-shirt store. Your DD can pick any character to put on it, it can say whatever you want. You also pick your own colour and long or short sleeves. We have also experienced the joy of adoption.

Congratulations.:grouphug:

Yay for you! If we have children someday, I'd like to adopt. :) I say, go to the BBB. I usually am frugal and tell people to do their own daughter's hair and such, but this is such a special occasion I think it's worth the splurge.
