Tiny clear "bubbles" on your skin?

I get them two...I actually have a buch on my hands right now. But I have very severe eczema.

I don't do anything to treat them...they eventually go away on their own. My derm said there's no way for me to prevent them because of how severe my eczema is.

I am on Methotrexate (an immunosuppresent), zyrtec (2x day), vanicream, and 3 steroid creams for my eczema and allergies and I still get them. I've just learned to deal with them.

GOD BLESS YOU!!!:littleangel:

Every now and again I get these tiny clear bumps/bubbles on my fingers and let me tell you....THEY ITCH!!!!

What are these things and how do I get rid of them?

Does the itch start before the blisters? Does the affected hand feel like it is hot? (not to the touch, but to you feels very hot) Is the itch so bad that it would keep you awake?

I have those too, but only during the summer when its hot. It's been really hot here the past few days and they started up, but they really don't bother me. They itch a little bit and are filled with clear liquid if they do happen to break open. The weather has cooled down today and they are starting to go away. I imagine when we go to Florida in a few weeks they will flare up again, but its nothing so bad that I need to see a doctor.

I've only recently started getting these within the past couple years.

One of my co workers I think had that..I googled it as all I can remember is him saying it was basically like a severe form of eczema..he even did some clinical trials for a med to treat it.

Does this match what happens to your hands?

WARNING..there are pictures in the link that show more advanced/serious forms of it.

I have this, and unfortunately it likes to make its appearance on my right hand and I am right handed. It is horrible! I hate having to pay with cash at the store when I have to put my hand out for the change. I also hate when I have to shake someones hand, because it hurts.

I am the odd ball. I get little blisters like that, but I get them on my feet. Usuall by my big toes. Thankfully I have only had them a few times.

Just thought I'd mention: sometimes Coxsackie Virus (or hand, foot and mouth disease) causes tiny itchy clear bubbles on hands and/or feet.

I and my kids get these occasionally. My dermatologist said it's probably a virus that manifests itself in that manner. Not much you can do about it, but it will go away. It usually occurs on the pads of the fingers or the palm of the hand, but we've had them on the soles of our feet too.

I get those once in a while, too. Only on my right hand and only on my middle and ring finger. :confused3 I never get more than 2 or 3 tiny blisters on each finger. It's bizarre.

I use my psoriasis prescription cream to clear them up if they are really bothering me (itchy).

I get those on my face only. Any idea what that is? My skin burns and gets oily and the these clear blisters crop up.

I also have dyshidrotic eczema, on my hands only. For me, it's stress/anxiety induced. I have a mild flare-up that's healing right now, but have had some really bad ones in the past. Not much works for me except getting past the thing that's making me crazy!

Lucky us, it seems to be a particularly difficult condition to treat.

I haven't read the thread yet but my doctor told me that it was a form of eczema.

Wow old thread, I decided to read through it and I saw that I posted in 2012. LOL

Sounds like (what I have been told is) eczema.

I have had issues with little bumpy itchy spots that itch to a level that will about drive me insane. It seems to form on like my index finger and thumb on both hands. It does that for little while, then it stops itching, then bubbles up and peels off which looks really gross. Knock on wood, it doesn't happen very much anymore. When I was younger it would happen fairly regularly.

Eczema hands here as well. I have had them in the past. I can't remember what I used to get rid of them.

Not sure if I prefer the blisters or the PAINFUL cracks I have on my skin right now....blah.

Dang it!!! ANOTHER ZOMBIE THREAD!!!!:mic:

I have dyshidrosis - I get it mostly on my feet but occasionally on my hands as well. My hands generally get the small clear bubbles, my feet are more serious and look more like the grossness on the Wikipedia page. I get it on my hands much less often when I wear gloves to do dishes. A dermatologist prescribed me a steroid cream and told me to apply it to active outbreaks, put Aquaphor or vaseline over it, and then cover the area overnight with a sock or a knit glove. It's pretty effective on the hands but my feet have been messed up continuously for years.

It's eczema. I get it on my hands and feet mostly in the summer. The blisters will pop and then the skin peels.

This. I went to the doctor and was told I have a sun allergy. It sucks!
We're you in the sun? I've had it happen when I got too much sun, I'm guessing either a sunburn reaction or a reaction to the sunscreen I used.
