DH, Myself, DD (6) and DS (5)
We woke up early to make our PS at Crystal Palace. This is tradition for me and honestly the food is ok, but not this time! They must have stepped it up a notch because both DH and I agreed that this was one of our favorite breakfasts. I ordered an Ambrosia smoothie, so did DH and it was AWESOME!! The server said they change the flavor of the smoothie often so hopefully next time we can get this again!! Eeyore came first and left so quickly that we did not get a photo with him!
You know how once they leave your table thats it, well, that is what happened. My kids said, "Eeyore we need a picture!" and he just kept on walking. They were very disappointed and frankly so was I. The other characters made up for it though. Tigger grabbed DDs squirt bottle and squirted every table near us! He spilled the next tables OJ and grabbed the sugar packets and threw them EVERYWHERE! They had to have a cleaning crew come and pick up after him. He sure was feisty this morning!! Eeyore did manage to come back but only DS was able to get a photo with him because DD was up at the buffet line.
After breakfast we rode all of the rides we just could not stand to NOT do before we left. This was a EE morning and it was CROWDED. We did ok because we had spent so much time in CP that Fantasyland had cleared out a bit.
At 3 PM we left the MK to go back to the WL.
The kids and I really wanted DH to add on a few nights but he needed to be back on the 10th for a meeting so... goodbye MK!!
We then rented the SeaRaycers at the WL for a 45 minute tour of Bay Lake, we love doing this and usually wait until the last day to do it. It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed this. When we got back to the WL there was a momma duck and her 3 babies to entertain us, too cute!
We decided that with 14 "Wishes" left we would try and eat at AP again, this time WITH the kids. We were lucky and got in at 5:30. The food and service again were amazing. The server went out of his way to make the kids feel at ease. Almost every table here, at this time, had kids. I had the filet again but this time I did not ask for a side substitution and DH had the buffalo steak. DS had a lovely presentation of PBJ! It was hysterical! The sandwich had been cut into 4 triangles and was plated with a MOUNTAIN of potato chips! DD ordered macaroni and cheese, which she ate almost all of. For dessert DH and I ordered 2 cobblers to go. (DH has taken all week to eat those, btw! I think we still have 1/2 in the fridge) DS and DD ordered the white chocolate Mickey puzzle that you paint!!! Oh, THIS was a highlight for the kids!! They come out on an Artists Palatte plate, the kids then put the 8 piece puzzle together and then they paint it with the paintbrush and 3 edible paints that accompany it. We spent an extra 30 minutes here while the kids enjoyed their dessert! I cannot say enough about AP, we loved it.
After dinner we took one last walk around the WL and were sad to leave but it was time, so at 7:30 PM we started our drive back to NJ.
