My oldest daughter is having a Tinkerbell party tomorrow. For favors we made chocolate covered pretzel "fairy wands". We want to put a tag on them that says something like thanks for coming... something a little more creative than that though. :rotfl: Any thoughts?

My daughter had a tinkerbell party for her 6th Birthday. We bought cheap fairy wings on ebay, and made skirts, gave these to the kids as favors.

We played a balloon game, were they try to pop each others balloons, they loved it

How about...
I "wand" to thank you "fairy" much for being my friend.

LOve the ideas. We had a fairy party for my 7 year old and they loved playing pin the wand on the fairy. I painted a large fairy and they had to be blingfolded and pop on her wand.

We also made fairy trinket boxes. I bought the plain little boxes form the craft store and painted them white in preparation for the party. They then decorated them with pens, glitter, sequins, pompoms and other embellishments and took them home as a favour with little sweets in them.

We did musical statues where they had to prance like fairies (to much hilarity) and the usual pass the parcel and such like.

When they had had a snack I gave them each a plate with a cup cake on it, some icing and other treats to decorate the cake with. They then either got to eat it or take it home.

Hope you have a great day tomorrow with your kids.

Thanks for flying in for some fun!

Thanks for sprinkling pixie dust on my party!

Thanks for making my birthday wishes come true!

LOL :rotfl:I really like the one in the previous post!

We just went to a Tink themed party today for DD4's friend. She had "pixie dust" that the girls could put on their cheeks -- vaseline with glitter. They also decorated wands.

LOVE your PARTY ideas, what a TALENTED mom you are! Lucky Kids!!!

I did the same for my daughter in NOvember and I wrapped up little tule bags of gold glitter and wrote, "Thank you for making my birthday magical."

I also served food and gave it a Fairy name like branches(pretzel sticks), bread sticks(logs), broccoli(trees) and pizza(didn't rename that one).

We also played a game for each type of fairy;tinker, garden, water, air...can't remember the rest.

I think the best idea was to give each girl a nametag with her new fairy name. I used the disneyfairies website for ideas on names. So, for example, my daughter was lily whitecloud. The girls loved it!
