First some introductions!
I'm Katie. I'm 26 years old and work with special need children in an
elementary school. I have loved Disney since I was a kid and have become
very obsessed through the planning process! I love all the princesses but
have very special attachment to Tinker Bell and Cinderella!
The Boyfriend!
Chris is 27 and been to Disney several times with his family. He is the
greatest guy in the world! I think he is most excited for our ADRS and
drinks around the "world"
Now on to the planning!!!!!!!!
I will never forget my first trip to Disney. I was six years old. Everything was bigger, brighter and more magical than anything I had ever seen in my whole life! I still 26 years later can vividly remember the smell from the bakery on Main Street, knowing that I knew everything about Wendy from Peter Pan (because I had been in her nursery on the ride) and never feeling as safe as when my Mom gripped my hand on line at it's a small world. Disney was magical for me. I never knew they made waffles in the shape of mickey and to this day have a problem eating one that isn't. But more than anything I will never forget watching Tinkerbell fly off Cinderella's Castle in an array of fireworks, sparkles and music. I fell in love, I couldn't believe how special she was! When I said this to my Mom she knelt down and whispered "You are just as special" I will carry those words with me for the rest of my life! I have not been back to Disney since...

Three years ago I lost my Mom to a two year battle with Ovarion Cancer. She was an amazing, caring, passionate and strong willed fighter. It was a horrific time for me I was 22 and felt like I was and had nothing. I had lost that one person who always made me feel special. Then one night six months later I reconnect with an old friend, who had dated my best friend in high school. Over the next few weeks we began a friendship and much speculation among friends. Then one rainy night outside a bar we shared a kiss and Chris and I became much more than friends. He saved me that night, and he tells me I'm special everyday. Chris had also lost his Mom several years prior, we bonded over this as well as music, cooking and our love for Disney. We always talked about Disney being our first vacation together. We speculated and planned. But being two college kids we barley had enough money for gas let alone a Disney vacation. So we started saving, a little here, a little there. We moved in together. Celebrated two anniversays, two Christmases, Two Valentines. We have been on several vacations in our now in our almost three years of dating, New Jersey with family, OBX with friends, weekend trips to Long Island, Mystic and Boston. But we were still yet to go on a 7 day vacation all on our own. Then two months ago we realized we had enough money, actually we had plenty so we did it! Took the leap and booked 7 days at the Pop Century. I am so excited for everything, but most importantly I am excited to share the place that I shared with my Mom with the one person who will always understand. Who has stepped in and never lets me think I'm anything but special!
So we leave in exactly one week!!!!!! We are staying at the Pop Century from April 3rd to April 10th. I'm so excited I'm ready to burst

Day 1:
Leave NY @ 9 am
Arrive in Orlando 11:50am
ME to Pop Century Resort-drop off bags and maybe grab and quick lunch
Head to Epcot
Dinner @ Chef De France (TS)
EMH in Epcot
Day2:
Character Breakfast @ 1900 Fare (OOP)
Head to Hollywood Studios and meet with my cousins
Lunch @ ABC Commissary (CS)

Magic Kingdom
