Tina Turner has passed…

For everyone else reading this: A reminder not to put off seeing our musical legends/icons. And don't put off doing other things we love. The clock is ticking on the time we have here. 🕰️
I had tickets to see Tom Petty in June before he passed away. I had seen him once before but was looking forward to seeing him again. Unfortunately it was a big night at my kid’s school and I sold the tickets thinking I could catch him the next time. Not sure I would have made a different decision had I known, but I do regret missing the show. He died shortly after that tour ended.

BET has a documentary on her life right now. I knew her music in later years, but never realized everything she has faced in life. This world has lost a great one.

That reminds me, right before the pandemic shut down NYC and then the east coast, I had tickets to see Celine Dion. The first known diagnosed case of Covid on the east coast happened on March 1st. Our tickets were for March 5th. I think we were all staring at a map :magnify: wondering how far the first case was, just above NYC, to the the arena in Brooklyn and praying we'd get to see Celine before they shut down the city as cases started piling up. 🙏

We did get to see her. It was one of the best nights of my life as she had us sing along with her during many songs.

That concert then had to last me three years through the pandemic before I got to see another live performance of any kind.

I had decided I'd love to see Celine again someday. She's still rather young at 55. But, several months ago, Celine announced she has some illness and may never get to sing live again. :sad1: So, I may have seen one of her last performances. I hope not. :sad1:

Again, everyone, don't put off seeing or doing something on your personal bucket lists. Definitely start ticking things off your lists.
