Timings at AKL/Boma

Hi folks!
I am hoping for some help with timing for our evening at AKL on June 18.
We have a 4:30 Boma ADR.
We want to do the fire pit/marshmellows/story time.
And also look for what animals we might see - daylight and later with the night vision goggles.

Does anyone know when the firepit/story time starts on a Saturday night at AKL (June 18)?

I don't know the answer to your question, but do consider the 4:00 restaurant tour.

The Culinary Tour is a 30-minute tour of the Boma and Jiko restaurants with a few food samples thrown in.

We have found that the best time to view the animals at AKL is at dusk -- the heat of the day is gone and the animals are more active -- that also seems to be when food is put out for them. So your 4:30 ADR should give you time to dine and then head out to see the animals. If there is a marshmallow roast on the day of your visit, that will be at dusk, too.
