:wave2: Hi Everyone!

OK so I have some timing questions. I got an email back from my planner. RE: Our timing. The response was this
5-5:50 Ceremony & Photos in Pavilion
6-6:30 Cake/Champagne Celebrations
6:30-8 Dinner
9-10 Dessert Party (fireworks currently scheduled for 9:30)

This just doesn't work, but it is the basic Escape timeline. I don't want to eat cake before dinner. First off...as ridiculous as this sounds...I don't want people to feel full from cake when we have an amazing meal planned...:rolleyes1 Second. I have an hour between Dinner and fireworks...I'm planning on cake cutting and Mickey & Minnie...So, that should take up that time...
I was hoping for that 6-6:30 being champagne and first dance, father daughter dance and mother son dance

What do you think? Am I missing anything?

doesn't that timeline have to do with escape weddings though? because i thought the escape was ceremony/toast/cake. so i would imagine they wouldn't let you spread it out different because of the package? but who knows! plus, maybe you are entering wishes territory in your budget?

will be interested to see what you can do! i however think there is no bad time for cake!!

Does your planner know you want to skip the cake/toast? When I was planning my escape I had to specifically tell her that I want to cut the cake after dinner and have the mouse come during that time.

When I was planning, my planner marked on the BEO that we were "Staging" a cake cutting but not actually cutting it or serving it at that time because we are heading to a lunch reception right after the ceremony. My planner said that they will have it boxed up for us to take to the restaurant.

Haven't done that yet...but glad to hear that they are open to that...

Good to know! Thanks!

We are doing the same thing, cutting the cake but nobody is actually having any, as we have our dinner scheduled an hour later ( kinda cruel), but we are serving our cake as dessert with the dinner. So basically during the cake/champ. toast we are having the toast, DH and I will cut the cake and then have our first dance.

I think I want...
6-630 toast and dances
630-8 Dinner
8-930 Cake/Mice/Desserts
930 Fireworks

....Just need to check it with my planner...
