Would you say it is better to get the 1st PS of the meal(B,L,D)or the last PS of the meal (B,L,D)We seem to be getting the latest PS at breakfast and lunch and I'm concerned about the quality of the food esp. the buffets. Also I'm wondering if the CM's and characters are tired and not very interactive.

If you are doing buffets you are so much better off to get the earliest PS. Often (but not always) there is a huge food quality issue the longer the buffet has been serving the meal. We really try to be the first ones at a buffet. If we can't be then we just don't do it. ( The longer the buffet has been opened for a meal the more kid's have had the opportunity to stick their hands into the food or someone has sneezed on the food. You get the idea...

What time is the last PS for a breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. We have Boma dinner and breakfast PS and a Crystal Palace PS.

Thanks
Renee

Go to CM buffet ever year never had a problem. Food looked just as good when we left as when we arrived.
They do a great job and cleaning up and bringing out fresh food.

I don't think it really matters. I do believe that the whole "three meals a day" concept is an artificial construct that is not conducive to healthy eating, so I usually have breakfast, a snack, a late lunch, and one or two other snacks. My late lunches in the parks are sometimes at character/all-you-can-eat places, and I've observed no decline in quality of food (as fresh items are brought out every so often) or character interaction (as the characters come out in periodically with breaks in-between... they're not out non-stop for the very reason that they would get tired out.)
Eat on your own schedule, and have lots of fun!

We had one of the last seatings for the CB at Crystal Palace last year (didn't realize that when my cousin made it the night before). We didn't have any problem with the food.

But it was kind of funny. I didn't realize that they shut things down in between (to switch over the food). I went into the bathroom and by the time I came out almost everybody was gone! But the good thing was the characters were still there, so we got a nice picture with Pooh Bear before he had to run off! FYI, the other characters "work the room" during the meal, stopping at each table to say "hello" to everyone. But Pooh Bear stays near the middle and the kids have to get in line to go to him.
