If the boat is there, take the boat.... maybe take it at least as far as Yacht/Beach. If you have to wait for the boat, walk it.

I totally agree with this. We walked from BC and it took around 20 minutes, not bad at all. Decided to take the boat back to BC instead of walking and between waiting for the boat, loading, etc. it took us longer than walking.

If you are comfortable walking, then I would walk. You control the timing that way and that will reduce your stress levels. If you are even just an average walker and have strollers for any young children, then you will have absolutely no problem getting there in an hour. It's 1.5 miles away and the walk is nice around the lake and then through the boardwalk.

I actually wanted to take this walk last trip but we never got around to it- I even had Robo's map saved on my phone! Hopefully we can do it this fall
