Time to pull the long-johns and jackets back out. . .

I wish you'd blow that front a little further south! It's like 300 degrees here, lol. I hope it sinks down enough that we at least get a few drops of rain...my yard's all crispy.

Yes, I'm really glad for the rain. We can always use it. We really needed and planned to do yardwork today and work on re-staining our fence, but too bad. Now we can't, so we'll just have to find something to do like go shopping or out to eat or to the movies :rolleyes1 :).

Mowed, edged, trimmed and fertilized the yard at breakneck speed last night. :yay:

Now it's just right to head for Scarborough. Wenches, grog and a little light drissle! Woo-Hoo! :cool1:

We went to the Wildflower festival (it's music and not really for wildflowers) in Richardson last night. Guess we should have done yardwork, but DH can't pass up a David Wilcox concert and he was only playing last night.

Have fun at Scarborough!

ugh it's still too hot for me...lol. cause this is still a bit humid...I want like upper 50s low 60s...I'm so not good at the heat.

Wow--I'm in MN & I had my cars air conditioner on for the first time yesterday--it was 62 at the time!! 71 to me is unbearable;)

71 is shorts weather here....I love that temp....it's Goldilocks!!

60 here right now. At least the sun is out after the flooding of yest!
Supposed to be 80 by wed! Let's HOPE so!!!

Stupid weather....today is DD's prom and I want to take pics outside, but it might be raining and the yard is a flooded mess!!

That is funny.
We are having Frost/Freezing warnings tonite.
I bet if someone from Upper michigan posted,
they would tell you, they can still see Ice Shelves on Lake Superior.

Ice shelves?? :confused3 ;)

Seriously, though, without googling it I'm guessing that it is ice thick enough to skate on or fish through. Even though I have heard the term and have a vague idea what it is, "ice shelf" is one of those phrases that I don't really know the precise definition of .

We're in for 100+ here through at least Monday. Too hot, too early. And we rarely get rain in the summer.

It's pretty cool (68) here where I am in Texas. I was shocked when I went outside in a tank top earlier.

It's 49 and rainy/windy here right now... my son's out camping with boy scouts. They'd love your 68 degrees, lol.

50, cloudy, showery, WINDY, with a possible low in the 30's tonight.

Cry me a river for your 71... ;)
