time to get to port

Although we are not going until next January I am a big planner and want everyone's opinion-

We are planning on staying at the Ron Jon resort the day before, then Sat. morning having DH drive me and the kids to the port, drop us off, then he go back to Ron Jon, leave the car there, and take the shuttle to the port, my question is, how much time should we allow for him to take us to the port? we will need to reserve his spot on the shuttle and I don't know what time to make it for-I don't want him to have to hang around Ron Jon for too long, but I don't want him to miss it either-

If he drops us off at the port at 10:30, could he catch a 11:00 shuttle? or would that be callling it close?

You should have no problem doing it as you have just outlined. The Ron Jon resort is no more than 10 minutes from the port, if even that.
