Our plane lands at 8 am.
I figure our room won't be ready. We are staying at GF.
I want to make breakfast reservations but I am not sure what time to go for.
10:30 or is that too soon?

There are so many variables on arrival day. You might make it, you might not. Definitely don't book anything that's prepaid - you'll forfeit the entire cost if you miss it. For other restaurants, you'll pay a $10 per person fee if you miss it. It's up to you if it's worth the risk.

Personally, I wouldn't book anything before noon. Even then, I wouldn't book a prepaid meal.

If everything went perfect your probably still on the edge of not making it time wise. I would plan for a later meal or just use the counter service.

you also didnt' mention where this meal is and if your using me so I just assumed it was eating at GF after riding ME.

I am not super concerned about the 10. Per Person charge.
Just thinking about if everything goes normally. What is the average time to get to the GF?

It's typically about 90 minutes from the time you land until arriving at your resort via Magical Express.

Tuesday October 11th. Why?
Providing specific details always makes it easier to answer a question accurately. Arriving on October 11th is very different than arriving on December 25th or April 17th. And an ADR at the GF Cafe is very different than one at CRT or Boma.

Thank you. That makes sense.

I would suggest waiting until you land and then going on the MDE app and making the reservation then when you have a better idea of when you'll make it to the restaurant. If you have a delay, cancellation, etc., no need to worry about not making an ADR. I checked ADR's for tomorrow (just to see what last minute availability is like) and for Oct. 11 and there is a ton of availability for GF Cafe.

I agree with the others. I firmly believe a breakfast ADR is folly. Perhaps lunch?
Once you land, which may or may not be anywhere near schedule time, the average transport time via MDE is 70 - 90 minutes. Then you need time to check in and/or store carry on luggage before a meal. Most folks will need a bathroom stop somewhere in there.
I never book an ADR sooner than 5 hours after scheduled arrival, based on years of business travel delays.

I agree with the PP's. This would make me incredibly nervous! I wouldn't want to be watching the clock that closely upon arrival. I never make an ADR that close to arrival. Usually if we do one for the first day we land in the morning and have an ADR for dinner, or at the earliest a late lunch. 90 minutes is usually very accurate, but I've had it closer to 2 hours, one even longer from plane landing until hotel.

My first thought, assuming your plane is on time and that you're using MDE so you don't have to wait for luggage, was that you should be fine making it to a GF or Poly ADR by 10:30. But as I read the responses, I tend to agree that it shouldn't be necessary to have ADR's for a late morning breakfast -- walk up should be fine.
