Time to enforce the rules...

I've never seen anyone peeing on the plants and I don't see much litter. What I see are people peeing in the potties (some may not wash their hands, but that's hardly worth an e-mail blitz) and CMs walking around with the little brooms and dustpans sweeping up litter. The parks seem fairly clean to me.

T&B, are you peeking under the stall walls or between the doors to see the people peeing in the potties??
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I noticed about a million fun and wonderful people and things, and a half a dozen irritating ones. Perspective is a good thing.

I've only noticed once or twice the smoking. If in a totally inappropriate place (such as a line)--I have said something once and the CM took care of it.

Mostly everything is magical for us as well. :)

I'm with you. I did notice lots of kids with Heely's though it didn't bother me at all :confused3

I REALLY don't want a debate ...again...OP asked for opinions and mine is that Heely's don't bother me at all. I understand they are against the rules for liability purposes. If a child is acting obnoxious on Heely's...they are an obnoxious child. Meaning..it's not the shoe..it's the child.

Smoking does bother me outside of designated areas, only because it kills people.

Other than that...not much really bothers me.

I just chalk it up to, there are rude people, who will always be rude...I just let it roll (most of the time) and enjoy my vacation that I have been planning for for 8 mos or more.

Are Heely's against the rules? I am at WDW several times a month, and that is the only thing listed in the OP that I have noticed, though it has never bothered me.

Believe me, I would notice if peeing in the plants was going on at every turn. :rotfl:

I'm laughing so hard my dog is looking at me funny! :rotfl2:

Let me clarify...I go into the restroom either alone or along with others. We go into individual stalls. I tinkle, they tinkle. I don't actually see them, but I do hear them. I don't see or hear them peeing in, around, on, or near the bushes or other plantlife, real or pretend. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

However, at a nearby Subway restaurant recently (after our youth baseball game) I did open the door to an unlocked woman's restroom to see a woman's hiked up dress and some body parts that I had no business seeing. Why she couldn't lock the door I don't know. Me, being the quick thinker that I am, was nice enough to let my friend go before me when she walked up a minute later (coming from the same baseball game). That way the lady in the restroom would think it was my friend who had seen her nekkid rear end. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I don't really notice these things either. However , I can give you a rough estimate of kids on Heeleys in the Parks from August 15th to August 22nd according to my DS. He counted. Yup! Much to his disappointment, we wouldn't let him bring his from home after explaining that they were not allowed. I think he stopped counting at 39. Let me just say it really got old hearing "See mom, he's got his heeley's on!" like 30 something times!

I saw a young boy palying in the fountain near one of the rides near the exit at Epcot... no big deal, you say? He was about 3 - 4 years old and he was NAKED. This was in 2003.

I was TOTALLY SHOCKED on my trip 9/6 to 9/13 - I hardly saw anyone smoking in the parks - maybe 4-5 as compared to the usual dozens. So that was positive.

I've read about the "Heelies" but finally saw my first pair - actually saw several at WDW but none in the parks. I also saw lots of very well behaved children. After reading this board that also seemed out of the ordinary.:)

Actually, it's the parents. ;) Kids can't be obnoxious unless their parents let them and/or set the obnoxious example. And unfortunately, we've seen PLENTY of that at WDW. :sad2:

I am entirely too self centered on vacation to notice these things. :rotfl2:

Heeleys don't bother me and - I'm probably the last person on earth, but - neither does smoke.

Rude people always bother me, however, but they're freaking everywhere. And there's such a high number of people at WDW that there's bound to be a higher concentration of idiots. I think most people are happy and friendly though.

I think I'd notice a kid peeing in a plant. I've never seen that. If I did I think I would assume it was an extreme emergency. I would probably be laughing too hard to be upset.

So you do admit that you listen though?

Not on purpose! :rotfl2: But I was lucky enough to be given the gift of hearing! You are so bad and may the tag fairy find you in a most embarrassing situation very soon!!!! :furious: :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I'm working on it! You are the lucky person that I'm picking on! :rotfl:
It's not my fault that you are choosing wording that I can use to my advantage! :lmao:
Thank you for the kind Tag Fairy threat! May the Tag Fairy bestow on me some tags as lovely as yours!
FYI T&B, your are a household name here in our house! DH and I report back and force what you have said or done!

Example (and my only real complaint): We saw tons of kids wearing those shoes with the wheels in the heels last week -- wheeling through lines, down Main Street, cutting across in front of people, speeding down the wheelchair ramp from The Land in Epcot -- with parents smiling at how cute their spoiled little brats were.

Aren't those things banned at WDW?

Is WDW really gonna send a family out of the park to go change the shoes of a child? :confused3

What exactly are you forcing? :rotfl2:

Yeah, damn braille van...I said I could hear, not see! :rotfl:

Hey, I want to know what you two are imagining about me. I wonder if it's better than the real things I'm doing or not. In real life I'm a boring suburban housewife--I just play someone fun on the DIS. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

With all of the threads about everything at WDW going downhill, I feel like the only person on earth who doesn't notice that stuff. :lmao:

We can choose to notice every little thing wrong with Disney and become as miserable as everyone else, or we can choose to keep feeling the magic and spreading it around. I feel good when I'm there and I don't let anyone take that away from me.

Why give rude, obnoxious people the power to ruin your day/vacation? They are going to go about their lives, completely unphased by their actions. If you give in and let it bother you, they win. I ignore a lot and concentrate on the beauty and fun around me. I think I'm the luckiest person on earth when I'm there and I don't plan on changing that feeling any time soon. Strangers are not important. My family and the planning it took to get there is.

LOL!!! I DID NOT TYPE "FORCE", I TYPED "FORTH"!!!!!!! My keyboard is not playing nice with me!

Yep, that braille van started it all!!! :rotfl2: I guess us boring suburban housewives need to unite! We could start a movement!!:grouphug:

I've e-mailed them so many times about exactly the stuff you're talking about - it does no good. They send back an e-mail saying something like "the parks are for everyone, and we do our best to keep them clean, yada, yada, yada..."

I agree - the parks are a mess - our last trip, I almost felt like crying. :guilty:
