Monday the 8th for a Dole whip sounds like a great idea! Not only do I have my DW & DD but our friends will be with us as well. If the Whip doesn't work out just saying hi would be cool with me. I'm sure we can be near each other at some point.

Agreed! Hopefully our plans will be pretty solid by the last week of Feb or so and if there is any changes we can work it out. (nothing like waiting until the last minute, huh?) But this is going to be a very free-flowing vacation for us.

If not, there's always December, right?

December is still up in the air right now. We are still waiting to hear back from MAW with Juliana's dates. If we go in September, I'm not sure we would go in Dec too.

We broke out the Mickey Head countdown calendar today. Mel & I were going to make something different but Juliana wasn't having it. She wanted to use the one we made for our October trip.

I'm still on the cake hunt. (yes I'm popcorning myself!)

I was searching the DISigners board today and found some cool DISigns for some shirts for our trip. I didn't put in any requests- I just DLed some cool DISigns that I can customize myself.

I still have to find a rental car. I'll start seriously looking in about 2 weeks. I've had good luck with naming my own price on Priceline. I will probably go that route again.

I just bid $16 for a fullsize on priceline and it got rejected. I've found that if you bid about 2 weeks before, you can get one around $18 a day. I was just messing around today.

I (yes I said I!) made T-shirts for our trip last year. I don't have a pic with all of us wearing them though. Here is what they looked like.

I tried to bid $16 a day on Priceline for a full size rental car. But my bid was rejected. I have found that about 2 weeks before you need the car is the best time to get a deal.

We ended up making a ADR at Cape May Cafe for Friday night 3/12. Mel got to pick it. I wanted a Raglan Rd. ADR but she trumped me. Dinner is still up in the air but we wanted to have something reserved. We still don't know what we are going to do on that Friday, but the thought of possibly going to a water park came up. Mel & I have 4 admissions on some old N.E. tix. We would just have to get Juliana a ticket. This is a day that we are spending away from our friends. They are going to do something on their own.


We got a date for Juliana's next check up. Monday February 8th. She needs a CAT scan and bloodwork at the clinic. (CCMC) She is going to have to miss school. We tried to get her the next Monday, she is off, but other people must of had the same idea. We called about 3 weeks ago to make her appointment but CCMC never called us back. GGGRRRRR

I was also collecting pictures and 'other' stuff to try to start Juliana's WISH PTR. A little birdie told me that I should get it started. I think maybe some time next week I'll have it all together and ready to go.

Blizzard Beach will be closed for refurb so it will be Typhoon Lagoon. We haven't been to either waterpark yet. We have the Disney Beach Party sing along songs and it shows clips from both. I don't know which one is better though. I know March weather has its ups and downs so obviously it will have to be a decent day.

Have you ever eaten at Cape May? I never read too much about it here. We love seafood and Juliana even eats shrimp now so we thought it would be good to try. Who knows, we might even be able to hit Beaches & Cream after.

Thanks for the prayers. She hasn't had a CAT scan in a while. Hopefully after this scan her doctor will bump up her visits to 6 months. We thought he would say that last time but he didn't.

1) NO, it wouldn't be un-DISlike to have 2 PTRs going.

2) I really hope Jul will have a fantastic check up, with not one thing to worry about! going to 6 months would be a great feeling!

3) Rentals?? I have not a clue what you should pay, where to go, or anything. That's why I'm on the boards. So others can brave new worlds and pioneer this stuff for us.
