Time to DOUBLE up!! 2 for 1 Pre-TR!!!!!!! TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED!!!!!!!

Did you abandon ship??!!

HEY, HEY!! I"m talking to YOU!

Paging, Mr. Tim, Mr. Tim Morrow!!!

I noticed that dang button gone too. I was trying to search and see if new mugs are out yet, and could find the search at all. I hope it comes back too.
I had actually right clicked on my name sometime last evening to "search" my own name, but it only pulled up my last 500 posts. :confused3 So no dice on finding my very first ones.

Ah well.
Well the search is back and I think it is better than b4... well faster at least!

LOL... After being gone all most of the weekend, guys night out yesterday, and working tonight, I haven't been on much. I've been reading but not really posting. AKA Lurking! LOL

Just wanted to say hey Tim!
:wave2: HEY!!!!

It's almost time to break out that countdown calendar! LOL :lmao:

Considering the fact that the questions you first asked, and are now laughing at, are questions I still don't know the answers to, I don't want to search my posts. :lmao:

You want to stir up a debate? Ask on the restaurants board if you can have 2 ADRs at once. Hope you have good reflexes!!! LOL :lmao:

I'm a lurker. My name is Tim.:rotfl:

Guess what? I just noticed the search is gone again. :sad2:

The boards have been way quirky lately. SLOOOOWWW!!! Better today though.

I found another cake I like... It doesn't have any character on it but I'm sure I can add it. Check out the pictures here. http://photopost.wdwinfo.com/showphoto.php/photo/45758

I wonder if I told GF bakery to make it similar to this and add a cinderella theme to it.... NOT the glass slipper... and see what they come up with. :confused3

I'm trying to have a nice cake for Juliana without spending $100 on flour and icing. ;)

I'm sure you've already discussed this, but what's the cost of those?

This cake was $90. I'll have the TIW card so I should save another 18%. It is still up there in price though. I'm going to have to make a decision soon so I can get the ball rolling on her cake. I have about 2 weeks to find something... or make my own design.

I like this one FAR, far better than the first one you showed us. This one is really classy!

$90? Ouch! -18%, better, but only down to owie!

I like it too. But is is going to be too classy for a 4yr old? I been scouring the boards for weeks trying to find the perfect cake and I'm having issues. Am I trying too hard? It is only a 4th birthday. Juliana will just want to eat the frosting anyways. :confused3

I guess if I'm gonna be paying this type of money I want it to be awesome!

-18% but then add the tip... 18% right back on there. :lmao:

Tim, it's a 4 yr. old. She could really care less- probably. I think the cake will be mostly for pictures, and for you and Mel to be wowed. But take my comments with a grain of salt. We are cheapskates (is that the right word?) anyway. My kids get a choco cake, and they're lucky to get frosting at all- even on a birthday.
I'd say if she were 12 or even 16, the cake woudl be a bigger deal. Maybe the same amount of money coudl be put towards an experience instead- or let her get an extra plush that she can enjoy all year?

AH, I see where you went wrong! I started out over in the Wish trip thread and branched out from there. People are nice on that board. ;)

I love fondant cakes! They are so pretty! I bought our first one last fall for Phoebe's bday. It was about that size. She made it a mild banana flavor cake with mini chocolate chips, and then banana flavored fondant. I wasn't sure that cake would serve all of our guests so she also made a couple dozen cupcakes, with buttercreme frosting and made them look like flowers. I paid her $40. She was going to charge 30 but I "tipped" her because I knew she was giving me a deal! She's just starting out and trying to get her name out there. I'm not surprised Disney would charge that much. Maybe come up with a couple of choices and then get quotes?

I'm just having a hard time figuring out what to do. I really would like to be in the $60 range. That seems a little more reasonable. I do understand that at WDW the prices are inflated. We have so much planned this trip including BBB for the girls. This isn't gonna be a cheap trip by any means. :sad2:

One thing this kids doesn't need is more stuffed animals. She has bags of 'em. When she was sick, everybody brought her one. :dogdance:

Good Idea! You are smart! There are a few things to get people in a tizzy. Pool hopping, multiple ADRs at the same time, & cutting the ride line. :hippie:

That is a really nice cake! $30? That is a steal! I think I need to come up with 3 choices and go from there. Of course I will run them all by you guys first!! :lmao:

Well, I think you have your answer then.

You're welcome.:thumbsup2

LOL This is great!!!!!!!!!! Do you know how happy my kid would be if I just handed her these? I would be father of the year!!!!!!

Have you planned out any of your days in March yet? :surfweb:

Have you planned out any of your days in March yet? :surfweb:

Not really. I keep wavering back and forth. We're only staying on property one night (Animal Kingdom Villas on the 7th). Part of me thinks we should take advantage of EMH on the 7th and 8th, but another part thinks we should use that time to hang around the resort and enjoy it.
The only firm thing I have is a lunch ADR at Le Cellier on Tuesday the 9th.
We'll probably end up going to a park on the 8th after we check out. DHS has evening EMH that day, so we might start out at MK and hop over there. As of now my best guess would be a Dole Whip meet at MK some time on the afternoon of Monday the 8th.

Of course, I have a wife, a Mother in Law and Father in Law (and to a much lesser extent 2 kids) that all seem to have their own ideas of what to do when. :confused3

I'll run it by Bambi today and see if she had anything in the works besides the one ADR.

Monday the 8th for a Dole whip sounds like a great idea! Not only do I have my DW & DD but our friends will be with us as well. If the Whip doesn't work out just saying hi would be cool with me. I'm sure we can be near each other at some point. :surfweb:

And I'll bet she swears every last one is her favorite and she couldn't possibly say good bye to ANY of them. Right?
