I've loved reading all the great tips everyone has offered, so i know i'll get some good advice with my question: My family will be going camping at FW in 08 thinking about the begining of march? how's the weather? and how crowded is it? What about jan or feb (before president's day)? any and all advice will be greatly appreciated???:flower3:

BEWARE, Easter is very early in '08, March 23rd. The week before, the week of, and the week after ( sometimes ) can be very busy. We go around the end of March and have never had any real bad weather. Other DISers will tell you about January and February. But I've read the crowds are much better in those months.

We love February, the weather's very mild, crowds are low. We've had occasional chilly weather (one trip we had a week of temps in the 80's then a cold front came through and gave us one day of chilly rain). We have found that taking one outfit of jeans, long-sleaved t-shirt and a jacket each does it for us to cover any cold front days. I like the first two weeks because it's still in the value season. We've never been during president's day but I've read here that it gets fairly crowded.

Presidents week does get very crowded (not quite as bad as Christmas or Easter) We used to go to WDW the week before Presidents and found the weather to be a good mix. Most of the time it was in the mid to upper 70's with an occasional day with a cold front dropping it into the 60's or high 50's.

Unfortunately we are only able to travel during typical school holidays so we get stuck paying holiday prices and fighting the big crowds.

The whole family was at FW over Christmas this year and it seemed much more crowded at the parks than before. The resorts didnt seem too badly crowded. My DW and I flew down in early Februaury by ourselves and it was like the place was deserted comparing it to the Christmas holiday.

I really dont think you can go wrong during February or Early March.

February is a GREAT time to go to Disney, as it isn't that crowded (Presidents Day week can get a bit bad, but it's nothing compared to other busy times at Disney), and you can have some really nice cool weather while you're there. Sometimes it can get really cold at night though, so beware, and as CottonTail mentioned, make sure you have some cold weather clothes along with you.

I agree with BigDisneyDaddy, Februarly or early March is one of the best times to go to Disney!

Late January/Early February. Like they said, low crowds and usually good weather. We're "reserved up" for January 27 - February 6, 2008.:thumbsup2

..............but don't tell anyone. It's our secret.;)
