My flight was moved two hours later.

If the plane touches down at 11:30 can we still make 4:15 dinner at the castle?

Staying at wilderness lodge and planning on magical express.

Party of 11, no option to move dinner later, already looked

If you are using DME, we usually allow 2 hours from landing to get to the resort. That would put you at 1:30, so you should be fine with a 4:15 time.

Thanks, I thought so but I'm a little paranoid, one of those always early ppl

Our plane got int at 12:05 and we were at Grand Floridian by 2:45pm. GF was the last stop of 5 hotels though, lucky you, Wilderness was first in that list.

You should be able to make it, but you are not going to have a lot of time to spare.

Keep in mind that if you miss it, your credit card will be charged the full amount. With 11 people, that's a lot of money.

Even if you stay at one of the bus only resorts you should have no problem making your ADR. Enjoy!

FWIW, there are no set schedules for DME. Just because a particular resort is first on one trip doesn't mean it won't be last on another.

What happens if we are late?

But couldn't we get off and head to park from any hotel?

Not if you have carry on bags stored under the bus.

Even if they're small enough that you don't need to put them under the bus, you would have to bring them to the park with you. Taking them through bag check and then having to rent lockers to store them in will take forever.

You should be fine! I would budget 2 hours from landing to getting to your hotel. Then if you go straight to the park you could be there 3:00.
Keep an eye on time, have magical express pick up all your bags (if you have any carry on bags you'll have to drop them at bell services or take them with you) and head straight to the park rather than going up to your room (if its ready). If you're pushing it for time, call the resturaunt to let them know that you ARE coming but might be late.
-They'll hold your table for up to 15 minutes

If your admission tickets are part of your resort package then you will have to stop at the resort check in desk. There can be a long waiting line here.

Be prepared to take a taxi from your resort to the Contemporary Resort where you walk the rest of the way to Magic Kingdom (you will pass the MK bus platforms perhaps 5 minutes from CR).

If it looks like you are going to be late, call and let them know. They will try to accommodate your schedule or at the very least waive the fee. You will most likely be able to make it.

Assuming no major flight delays, you'll have no problem making that 4:15 ADR. Airport to Main Street usually takes me about 2 1/2 hours w/stop at resort to check in (that's w/rental car so add in maybe another 1/2 hour or so for Disney transportation). You should make it here with time to spare.

Any flight delays though, and you may have a problem. If it's a minor delay of an hour or two, you could opt for a cab ride instead. As previously stated, prepaid meals on arrival day do have some risk. All you can really do, if you end up with a major flight delay is call and explain the situation and hope for some pixie dust in being able to cancel same day.

Is this really true? I thought with Magic Bands and online check-in you can go right to the park if you want?? P

On our May 2015 trip, we were disembarking the plane at 10:00 am, checking into Pop Century at 11:06, and scanning our bands at the MK at 1:45 (thanks to timestamps on our photos). This included us going to Pop on the DME, having to go to the check-in desk to pick up our MagicBands (Canadians), some time to change clothes and set up window decorations in the room, AND eating a QS lunch at Pop before catching the bus to the MK.

I think you guys should be fine if you're prepared to head straight there!
