I'm enjoying all the updates. I would LOVE to do that Segway tour. The heat was really bad even earlier in June. There was one day on our trip that we gave up and went back earlier than planned (which is unknown for me!) because it was just miserably hot and muggy. The humidity was so high that your sweat couldn't even evaporate to cool you off! You just wear down a lot quicker, even though I am pretty much used to the heat.

What a great day in Epcot. I can believe it was hot! I give you families huge props for going during the summer. The heat can take a lot out of you.

I know it wasn't funny then but I had to laugh at the story of the CM packing pickles. Hello?! What craziness!

The Segway Tour sounds like fun. I would love to do that one day. We never spend much time in the World Showcase, I don't know why. I really want to see the American Adventure, it is at the top of my list for our next trip.

Too bad Lauren is the only girl in the group. When we went with my family my son was stuck by himself with 5 girls.

So, as I was reading your TR and lovin' the pics! (disclaimer here: I am one of those weird people who looks at all the "extras" in the photos, people in the background, etc...) I couldn't help but do a double take, and laugh at how much the kid in the left background, behind Tim, looks EXACTLY like my brother in law! Here's a photo of my BIL to prove it!

Yay - an Epcot day! I'm glad Tim enjoyed the Segway tour. We did Segways this summer (not at Disney) and it was a lot of fun! I can't wait to do the Epcot tour.

What a fun day in Epcot - you guys got a LOT done despite the heat!! I love that you and Diane just hung out a couple times too in Sunshine Seasons and then on Test Track. Gotta love that adult girl time!

Glad Tim enjoyed the Segway tour, we loved it back in '06! It's a lot of fun! They have one at WL too where you go out in the sand and woods!

What a great day--minus the heat and the poop in line.

I think we might look into doing the Segway Tour next time. We did the KTTK tour last September and we loved every single minute of it! I'm so glad that Tim loved his present. And how neat to know so many fun little facts about the WS now.

I still haven't done a KP mission--but your kids look like they were having a great time!

Fun morning and update! That Segway tour sounds like fun. I am anxious to try a KP mission when we go. I'm gonna have to rope my hubby into that one. I'm still trying to figure out what is wrong with the girl on the left behind Lauren in the Test Track line. I have heard things like that referred to as a "photo bomb"

Glad you finally got your gnome! I have been in your predicament before, not buying something at WDW and then getting home and wishing you had, hoping they would still have it next time you went back. You look tickled pink with him in your grip!

What a great but hot looking day! Glad Tim and Bryan enjoyed had such a great time on the Segway Tour. Thank Tim for the review and visiual of Mr. T. How did Mickey like his new dog tag? I am so happy you got your Gnome? I remember reading about how much you wanted it from your Girls only TR. Glad it looks good in your garden!

I love the mickey gnome, I saw one at the gift shop at Ft Wilderness this summer and wished I had bought it. I did buy the mickey rain gauge, on the shelf below the gnomes.

I am glad Tim enjoyed the segway tour, my DH loved it last Sept., so he tried the segway tour at Ft Wilderness this summer.

I spotted a machine where you can make DOG TAGS and they had MICKEY HEADS!!!!! Well, I HAD to buy one for our golden retriever Mickey, they are only 10.00!!!! Here is the front:

we got these for sherman and eli, too! there's a machine over in the soarin' area near the bathrooms and it took FOREVER to get them engraved. our machine must have been slow. but they are soo cute!

As we walked down towards Soarin’ I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!!! Look what I found!?!:

okay...i think we're in the twilight zone or something. i have this guy in my butterfly garden in the back yard AND i have that red mickey t-shirt! great minds think alike, i guess. glad you found him. he's so cute.

On our way it was fun because Tim kept telling us things about World Showcase they had learned on the tour. One was in Morocco, he showed us this piece on the fountain that was imperfect:

They did it that way on purpose because as a part of their religion they are showing that nobody is perfect, the only perfect being is their God.

Morocco is the only country fully sponsored by that country and they are all employees of the King of Morocco and they are paid by him and they have a place to pray and worship in the back.

very cool! morocco is my favorite country in WS so it's interesting to learn these things about it. and the tour sounds great. i love hearing about lamont!

look at the guy in the upper lefthand side of the picture - his face is hilarious!

I am convinced that we need to rent a car when we go. I am not a fan of bus travel...

Did Tim say it was pretty easy to get the hang of the Segway? That tour sounds like so much fun and interesting!

Score on your gnome and the dog tag! I'll have that on my list when we go in October.

How much fun you all had today! From the Segway tour description to everything that you and Diane did with the kids! Fun! Yes there were definitely some HOT days that week I agree!!!! :faint Still seems like you all had a great time! That cheesecake sounded fabulous! I will remember to get two phones next time, I think that is a good idea!

Great update!!! I can't wait to try a segway tour someday! I laughed about the intentional "mistake" in Morocco. Same thing happened when making my quilt... I messed up the arrangement of blocks somehow...and everyone told me the same thing! The Amish make mistakes in their quilt so its not "perfect".

I second what Kelli said--I admire people who willingly go during the summer. There's no way I could do it with the heat and humidity! Glad you had fun, and you really got a lot done!
