Hey Lesley! We just returned from our trip and I just caught up with your TR. What a magical morning you had at MK. Too bad your ME experience wasn't pleasant...I hope they realized that bus driver was not ready to be working and still needs more training.

We stayed at AKL (club level) and you guys are going to LOVE being DVC members there. We are actually thinking about becoming DVC there too!

Great report, I really enjoyed reading it. I am going to do a TR too, just getting myself settled back to reality first before I start.

Awesome trip report through and through! As a side note, I want to give you a big "THANKS" for all of your little tips throughout w/ regard to WL. We just got back on Sunday, and if we hadn't known them, we would've spent a great deal of time trying to figure out the transportation issues and such.

I'll have to keep an eye out for your next pre-trippie (June is not that far away ). Unfortunately, we'll not be going back next year as it's our 10-yr and we're going overseas for our 2nd honeymoon.

Started your report yesterday and had to finish it today. I really enjoyed it! I even told my hubby yesterday that you guys had the perfect family setup for WDW- a boy & girl, young but not too young, everyone adores WDW etc. So I had a good time reading about your adventures.

We too are flying Southwest; how was southwest?

I am glad you enjoyed it. Yes, she definitely needed more training. We loved Southwest and had no complaints and wouldn't hesitate flying with them again. Have a GREAT trip!

Hi there Tim & Lesley! I was so sad to see your TR end but, it was such a fun journey to take with you. Your kids are adorable.

We are going in Aug 2009 for 9 nights at AKL. I couldn't imagine going 17 nights (I am so jealous! ). Can't wait for your PTR.

So glad you enjoyed the journey! We can't wait for our 17 nights, we are so excited. I'll start the PTR when I officially can add on the SSR nights to our AKL ressie which will be in November, so be on the lookout for it.

I had a BLAST following along with your PTR and TR... but I have to ask: Did you get your cell phone charger back when you returned home?!

Just caught up on your TR, as I have been MIA for two weeks due to going back to work. I teach, as well. We had pre-planning starting 8/4 and then 8/11 was the first day for the students. I actually don't mind going back so early b/c we are done and out before Memorial Day.

Anyway, a great TR, as usual! Great last day, except ME. Can't wait for the next one!!!!! Have a great start to the school year.

So glad you caught up. So glad ou enjoyed the TR. You have a great school year too - I'm off to a good start so far.

17 nights... that is a lot of WDW! I guess you will truly get to try everything and do everything!

Is LUKE born yet??? I bet he is! IF so, congratulations! Thanks, back to school is going o.k.. We did love Crystal palace but I would say OHana's was my favorite breakfast place by far. We made all ADR's except for Tuttio Italia, we'll visit that one next year, we'll have 18 days to get them all in!!!

Just felt i had to say something! The weather in the UK is just rain rain rain at the moment, so yesterday as we couldn't go out my husband and i spent 5 hours!!!! reading your pre trippie and then your trip report.

We go in October for 19 days and found your report so amazing and informative as we have a boy and a girl too of similar ages (George and Madeline) and i just wanted tosay a MASSIVE THANKYOU for all the time and effort put in and also to Tim for your incredible weight loss!

You have certainly inspired us to begin our trippie, will let you know when it is up!

What an amazing last day at the MK!!!! All of those magical moments. I am really sorry about the stressful ending with the ME. I am always a nervous wreck until the bus shows up...I hate not having control although I know I could always rent a car but we would hardly use it. Anyways I am sad to see the TR end but am looking forward to your PTR for the very long DVC trip you have planned for next year!!!

By the way have you ever stayed at the Courtyard View room at WL? I am booked for one in Oct. I am hoping we will be able to be a Flag family but doubt it will happen since we arrive mid-week and are staying over Columbus Day weekend but one can wish right?

So glad you enjoyed our last day, it was such fun! We will give it a go on Magical Express again, we've never had a bad experience yet and for us we love the Disney transportation and never having a car, it's part of the experience for us. The PTR will start in November so be on the lookout for it. No, we've only stayed in Woodsview rooms at WL facing MK side, we love that view there and the privacy and seeing fireworks from our balcony. Good luck with Flag Family!

Lesley, I am sad to see this trip report come to an end. But WHAT AN AMAZING end to the trip! (aside from the ME mishap)

I was so excited reading about your Dreams, and how you passed on some Magic to a couple of other families.
I also almost cried when I saw the picture of Luke crying on your lap. I, too, get emotional over the end of a Disney trip.
My trip is coming up soon and just the other day I was thinking about how sad it will be when it's over...and it hasn't even started! Shame on me!

By the way, I found this picture of "Ruthie" as she looks CURRENTLY.

Still a beautiful girl. I'm sure Lauren will grow up SO BEAUTIFUL too! She'll be swatting off the boys!

Glad you enjoyed the report. I do that about trips too, just enjoy your time there and then come home and PLAN ANOTHER ONE! That's what I do. I can't believe that picture, she's a knockout! People always say I need to worry about Lauren when she grows up, seeing that picture makes it a little too real for me : )

Wow, thank you, I appreciate that! Poor Luke, he gets very emmotional at the end of our trips. I am always super sad too but Luke always gets the worst of it. I can't wait to write about our DVC adventures.

Your vacation sounds like it was amazing. I am sorry about the nightmare with the ME, but so excited for you that you got a lot of magic tossed your way throughout your stay. We just got back from our honeymoon two nights ago and did not see the dream team once, but still had an amazing vacation. I will start my TR either tomorrow or the next day. I can't wait to share with everyone. I also can't wait ot hear about your next trip.

We just got back from our annual trip down. This is the second year that they've lost our dining reservations. Even with my confirmation # in hand. This time they said we'd canceled them. Not! Anyway, with a full blown temper tantrum by me and some Disney magic they were fixed.

Hi! Wow, I thought this TR was dead. Things here are great. Life is super busy. Luke is full into soccer season, second grade and just joined boy scouts. Lauren is LOVING cheerleading and started soccer and preschool too. Tim is busy DJing like crazy and I'm busy with school and University of Phoenix and running the kids to all their practices and events.
We have OFFICIALLY booked AKL Savannah view studio for 8 nights for June 22-30th and in November when the 7 month booking window opens up we will book TEN more nights at Saratoga Springs, so keep your fingers crossed for us that we get the studio for June 30th-July 9th. CAN'T WAIT to be in Disney for that long. I just love planning DVC, we're so excited. I will start a pre trip report as soon as we get the Saratoga Springs reservation so keep your eye out for that.
I will have to post pictures of Lauren the cheerleader, Mickey who is now already 18 pounds and is so much fun and Luke's first day of school/soccer pics. Thanks for thinking of us!
