I did like the addition of the “shakers”:

Great update! I can't wait to see what you got for your birthday - I have been waiting patiently. I love these pics of Luke - they remind me of my oldest son Nathan. Although, Luke's expressions are much better. They just seem to be having so much fun!

:cool1: My friend is going to Disney in August and they got the deluxe dining plan! I have to say, before reading your trippie I don't know that I would have considered it. But if you eat the breakfast at the park before it opens and get the check before you are seated...I think that really would work. And the sit-down meals are far superior to the counter service most times....really something for me to consider....if I ever get back to Disney

Well, your AK day went smoothly except for poor Lauren missing out on EE. How much more intense is EE than say space mountain or RnR ??? Do you go upside down??? It looks very scary from the outside.

I know what you mean about the naps! ::yes:: I remember coming back to the room and closing the blinds and sleeping in the AC under those glorious ceiling fans in POR almost every day of our trip last June.

Looking forward to the next installment...don't feel obligated to answer my silly questions above...just know that I am really enjoying your trippie!!!

Thanks for the fun update:thumbsup2

I wanted to let you know that you inspired me to move our WCC ressies an hour and a half earlier (originally at 6:30pm-ish, now at 5:00pm-ish) so we can hopefully catch the campfire sing-along, movie and smores afterwards! :) Thank you :goodvibes

(P.S. And don't worry if you can't respond to everyone, it's hard enough to regularly update a TR ::yes:: )

You have such a beautiful family. Love the smiles on the kids faces, especially Lauren - super cute :cutie:

Tusker House bfast looks nice -- typical character meal. Although, from your pictures, I think I'm going to miss the neat camping atmosphere of Breafastosaurus!

So, was Dinoland pretty empty that early in the morning?

BUMMER about Lauren not being able to ride EE! Next time for sure! I give her kudos getting on Dinosaur, though! That is one brave girl you have there Mom!:worship:

AWESOME being in front for EE! The very first time my husband and I rode it we waited for a front car. WOW!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

We rode again and as we were going up the hill the boat turned suddenly putting Penny and I in the line of fire again. Penny looked at me right before the gyser was going to explode over us again and said “SERIOUSLY!?!?” It was priceless!!! Sooooooooooooooo funny! We were nailed once again.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! LOL :rotfl:

Yak and Yeti looked yummy! Too bad they dont' have vegetarian options that look good to me. :(

OH THOSE ARE TOO CUTE!!!!!!! :cutie:

Awesome update! Sounds like so much fun. I wasn't planning to ride EE this trip because I didn't really enjoy it that much when I rode it the 1st time, but after reading you report, I may have to give it another try, if I can work up the courage. ;)

great update and pics.

sorry u didn't like Donalds breakfast much. we loved it. my favorite breakfast of all of them. The food was great, the juice is out of this world. The characters stayed with us for awhile, just lots of fun.

We are going to Y&Y in September and reading this made me happy I made the reservation.

Love it, love it, love it! I know I say this all the time, but your little ones are just too cute. They are having such a wonderful ime and they just Love the camera. My DD is like that too.

I would give it a try, it is such a good restaraunt, all 4 of us loved it!
loving your TR, can't wait to get back to disney. Your children are beautiful and I love to see happy kids at disney (as opposed to the crying whining ones we usually end up sitting next to !! LOL)
Glad you are enjoying it, yes happy Disney kids are the best kind!;)

What a bummer that Lauren didn't get to ride EE. :worried: You should have put a big hairbow in her hair that morning. :rolleyes1

DD and I got to ride in the front of EE, back in Jan. and I must say it is AWESOME!!! I agree that it is neat to see how the track flips. ;)

Yak and Yeti looks YUMMY!! Especially the sundaes! YUM!!!!

Lauren looks like she had a quick pick me up nap because she looks fabulous next to Pocahontas. :cutie:
I'm going out of town for my parents 50th wedding anniversary party tomorrow, so I'm glad I got to read the latest installment before I left.::yes::
It was a bummer she couldn't ride, stay tuned to see if she makes height for other 44 inch attractions this year. Have fun at the party!

It was a fun day, glad you enjoyed reading about it. YandY is YUMMY!

Expedition Everest is a fun ride, the ride itself (speed and bumpiness wise) reminds me a bit of Thunder Mtn. Railroad, you go front and backwards but no upside down, it is a very fun ride, ask for front row!

Thanks for the fun update:thumbsup2

Very cool, you will love WCC and the campfire night, let me know how it goes.

Yes, Dinoland was almost completely empty that morning, it was nice not having to fight crowds that morning, everyone in the park seems to dash to EE first thing and Dinoland doesn't have waits first thing.

Give it a try up front, it's a cool experience!

Glad you enjoy it, the food and juice are incredible, the characters were just a bit rushed on this morning, but the kids loved it a ton and that's all that matters. You will love YandY.

do u remember what drink Tim had? was it the Yak Attack?

The deluxe dining plan looks awesome. We always have a hard time deciding on our table services.

Thanks for asking Scott, I was wondering the same thing:lmao:

I have to say I was hoping the Tusker House Bfast would be a slower paced character interaction. When it was Breakfastosaurus we found the characters moved through too quickly and even had to ask for some we hadn't seen.

Great update as always:thumbsup2

Finally all caught up. Nice updates Lesley!

I would have just waited 15 minutes for the lady to change out with a new cm at EE.

Great update! We did the same as you in April and asked for the bill upfront at our breakfasts, what a timesaver. I agree about the location, so far from EE! So glad you liked Y&Y, I remember you were worried about what the kids would eat! We LOVED it too:thumbsup2 Question for you, you seemed to really love the deluxe dining. Did you feel it was a value or did you use it more so there was no "thinking" or "budgeting" for food? Just curious. Did you find that you spent alot of time sitting and eating or was it a good balance? Thanks Lesley!:goodvibes

i read your latest installment last night, had a nice, neat little reply all done and when i tried to post it, the disboards had gone down for a few hours for maintenance. :headache: so i will try to do the best i can with remembering what i wrote!

so glad to see the tusker house review! we're going to the character breakfast in december with our friends and their 4yo DS, so i'm happy they have the activity for the kids.

we rode in the front on EE twice last year and it was really cool to see the track change over! totally wasn't expecting to see it. next time try the very back - the view's not as good but it goes WAY faster back there!!! :scared1:

i can't believe lauren fell asleep on the bumpy safari ride! :rotfl:

we tried to see nemo this year, too, but it didn't happen for us either. the timing just wouldn't work out. it seems they don't schedule this show as often as FOLK (at least when we were there) and i just couldn't justify spending the amount of time it took to work it in b/c supposedly you have to get there 45 minutes ahead of time to stand in line. like you, i just tell myself, "next time!" it's another excuse to go back! :thumbsup2

Great Update!

I think I might have to make a lunch reservation for Yak and Yeti. Your review is making me hungry.

When my Mom and I went in December, we arrived at Nemo just a few minutes before the show and we walked right in and had no problems. I guess it all depends on what time of year you go. I would not be doing it if I had to be there 45 minutes beforehand. Like you, I don't think waiting that long for something is maximizing my time.

Hello!!! i just got all cought up on your trip report. It's great!!! :cool1: I can't wait to hear about the rest of the trip....it's getting me sooo excited for my trip in August!!!
