Timandlesley’s how to win a dream in 10 days 11/15 NEW PTR UP!! pg. 94 has link!!!

Lauren sounds just like my little dd who just turned 5 yesterday. She is always off in her own world of singing and la la's while the rest of us are trying to keep her reined in. I'm so glad that the CM's were so responsive and helpful. What a nightmare that must have been when you realized she wasn't there.

Love the update! What a scary few minutes for you and your family. I am glad everything turned out fine and that Lauren is safe. Looking foward to reading more!!

Oh my, that must have been so scary when you lost Lauren. I am so glad to know that the CM's handled it very well. My little sister was the same way when we were younger...she would always be in her own little world. I think its the age and the fact that she is in DISNEY! Glad the crisis was averted and you were back on track in no time!

Lesley,

Another great installment!! This is the morning--Friday, right?--that I saw Tim as we were all hurrying in through the MK gates. He had Lauren with him, and they looked like they were running for a stroller. I would have stopped him to say "hi," but I knew he was probably hurrying just as much as we were to get in through security and through the gates. That morning it was just Tom, Megs, and I--we headed actually back through FL--we always seem to go in the opposite directions!! ;o) Sorry about the FP--if you saw my update yesterday, you saw how the same thing basically happened to us too!! UGH!! It is hard not to get a little upset when you are that close, and you end up with no dream!!! So sorry about losing Lauren for those few moments--I'm sure it did feel like a lifetime for all of you! LOVE the pics of the kids afterwards though!! PRICELESS!!!! You have me so thinking about the deluxe dining for next time----do you get a specific number of TS credits each day? Looking forward to the next update!

Omg!! I'm all teary eyed thinking of how scared you were! Your kids are so precious!!!! What a great big brother!!! Thank God you found her!!!!!!

We just love LTT! It is a must do at MK for us! We like the character dinner which from what I understand is going to be no characters after this year. I do not like the hectic character buffets and LTT was a great treat to relax and see the characters! Don't they have great home cooking food? Yum!

There is nothing worse than being a parent who can't find their child. Glad everything turned out fine.

Ok next time Tim is coming with us to find the dream team!!! WE didn't see them once the whole week (well we saw one guy standing in front of pooh but wasn't giving anything away yet) He does seem to have a sense doesn't he??

I was so scared for you reading the whole Lauren thing.. YOUR HEART must have been out of your chest that whole time! That is SUCH a scary feeling. Sounds like the CM's did I great job.. Poor Lauren must have been so scared too, LOVE that picture of her and LUKE , what a GREAT BIG brother!!!

oohh is this your date night?? Can't Wait for more!!!

WOW-what a update!
First: I am so excited about the lilo and stich breakfast as we are doing that one this year- glad you liked it.
Second: Just missed the Dream team- BOOOOO
third: I LOVE LTT, we had lunch there last year and my husband LOVED IT, it was his request to go back this year for dinner.
and fourth: OMgosh! how scary, I would have been freaking out aswell, Im soo glad you found her within a few minutes!

Im not to fond of the new DP, but we will see how it works out for us in september.

I cannot even imagine what you were going through during those minutes that Lauren was missing. So happy you found her safe and sound. And what an amazing big brother she has!

Oh yeah, and I can relate to having a big ugly bruise, I had one on my knee either due to Space Mtn or the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon on our last trip! Not fun!

As always, I love this TR! :goodvibes

I am loving your TR!!
So sorry you had to go through that with Lauren. My DD wandered off last year in MGM and I was scared to death. I finally found her and didn't know whether I should yell at her for wandering off or hug her because I was so happy to see her. Scary!!!!

Loving this update. The food at LTT looks really good. We may have to try that sometime soon. So glad Lauren was ok. That picture of her and Luke holding hands is so great.

Cathy

Thank god you found Lauren! Luke's not letting go of her was just priceless! How sweet he is!

I want to try LTT, the food looks pretty darn yummy. I heard they are ditching the characters for dinner soon tho.

Then we decided to try and find a family to give our stroller away to. We had the kids get out of the stroller at the train station as we searched for a family. We found one and gave it away and headed for the exit. I turned around and NO LAUREN!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD WHERE IS LAUREN!!?? (I must preface this by saying that Lauren lives in a world of her own and too often this trip she would be in her own little world singing away and would wander off, she had been told time and time again to stay by us, and we had caught her wandering many times, but this time SHE WAS NOWHERE IN SIGHT!!! Oh my Lord, time stood still. I started screaming. I LOST MY DAUGHTER! To the CM’s at the gate. .The CM’s took immediate action and were wonderful. “What did she look like” this CM said. I started screaming “She’s 4 years old, her hair is up, she is this tall (hands showing her height) she is wearing a purple Belle shirt”. They started to shut down the gate so no one could go out (truly they were AMAZING). I was scanning the crowd towards the train station all the way to the boat dock. Tim had darted back toward the train station, Luke and I remained at the gate screaming for her along with the CM’s. Luke was losing it at this point, crying and shaking saying “I LOST MY LITTLE SISTER” and screaming “LAUREN GEORGIA!?!!?!?!” “ LAUREN GEORGIA WHERE ARE YOU???” He said both of those things over and over and over again. About 3 minutes of this went by and it seemed like an eternity. Tim appeared from the train station holding Lauren. OH MY GOD! I ran over to her and swooped her up in my arms. She was back there talking to a CM and crying, she knew she was lost. The CM’s who were helping me at the gate came over and were amazing asking “are you alright mom?” Then they asked Luke “are you alright little guy”. They looked at me and said, “Oh my gosh, we felt so sorry for him, he was so upset and shaking”. I said “I know, we all were so upset”. The CM continued to be amazing and she handed pixie dust to Lauren, put it in her hand and told her to throw it which put a smile on her face, then she did the same to Luke, they sprinkled it in Lauren’s hair too.

Okay - It's official. No more reading your trip report over lunch. Your story of losing Lauren had me in tears! Little Luke shaking...OMG! Now I'm tear stained, I have the sniffles...and I gotta go back to work...

Enough about me.

I LOVE your trip report! You have a great writing style & tons of wonderful pictures.

ps. I'm so happy you found your beautiful little girl!!! :woohoo:

WOW!! Great update as usual!!

How freakin scary about Lauren. My DS (also 4) is the same way. Always in his own world in la la land. After I read this, I called his over gave him a huge hug and told him, "When we are in Disney make sure you can always see Mommy and Daddy". That has to be every parents worst fear!

LTT looks SO good for lunch. I have only ever been there for Dinner! And I have never been to the Lilo and Stitch breakfast either. Now I have new places to look forward to for our next trip after the coming up one!!

'Ohana for breakfast is our favorite! I have to try LTT for lunch...wow...that food looked good. We eat there for dinner...kinda bumbed that this is the last year for the Character Dinner. We don't like any other Character Meal at MK.
Oh my that was horrible about Lauren. I was in tears. Luke is such a wonderful boy and big brother. I'm so glad everything turned out ok. Those pictures of Luke and Lauren together are just precious.

Up next - your birthday? So, I can finally find out what you got?!

I was in tears reading your update too. That few minutes had to feel like forever. We "lost" Sophie one day after school and Abby was in tears, saying she needed her little sister, calling her name over and over. It was very scary for a few minutes, but it turned out that signals has just gotten crossed and Sophie had walked home to a friend's house. Long story, but everything turned out just fine. I'm so glad everything did for you too. That would have been so much scarier to lose a child in those huge crowds. It's nice to know that the CMs really know what to do in those situations. And nice to know that as much as siblings can fight with each other, they really, really do love each other!

LTT looked really good. That's one we've never tried. It's on my list for next time. Wish they weren't doing away with the character dinner though. We planned this trip so late that we had to take what we could get. Although we did end up with most of the places I wanted, but some very early dinners and one really late dinner. 8:30 at 'Ohana. We absolutely loved the food but it was just so much to eat that late at night and the girls were too tired to participate in the activities. We'll do it again next time and hopefully plan the trip sooner and make the ADRs 180 days out.

Sorry about you missing out on the Dream Fast Passes. That is such a bummer!

Can't wait for the next update. Waiting to see what Tim picked out for your birthday and see how the night out without the kids went.

Wow! Glad everything turned out OK with Lauren. I won't even pretend to understand the panic you felt at that moment. What's worse is what Lauren and Luke were going through.

Thank goodness for CM's who took charge and immediately went into action.
