Wow...Fast Pass Dream Passes....how exciting. They are wonderful! I'm sure that they saved you alot of time that day. Nice to see how they actually worked. I thought that you would be able to use the fast passes as many times as you would like.
When we went to the AK we were granted a wish too. Here was our wish -
My husband, son and myself went to the Animal Kingdom on 3/14/07. We got there at 8 am even though they did not open until 9 am. We wanted to get there earlier so we could ride the safari and Everest. We were one of the first ones at a turnstile.
When all of a sudden a cast member came up to me and asked, "how many is in your party?" I said "3". He told us to come with him. I asked him if we were going to loose our place in line? He said "No, you are going to open the park!". He took us to guest relations where our son got to put on an employee safari shirt and we all got musical instruments. We went to the entrance and stood there facing all the other people waiting to get in. They made an announcement introducing our family and where we were from. When the countdown ended we made noise with the instruments.
We were able to get a head start into the park. We were right in front when Minnie, Goofy and Pluto came up in the safari truck. Our son also got to raise the curtain that was on the attraction board. Since he did that our family got a free fast pass to use at any ride that day.
Once all the opening ceremonies were done we headed to Everest. We were at the front of the line, when they made the announcement that the ride was closed because of "problems". They made us get out of the line but on the way out we got a fast pass for the entire family to use at anytime during the day.
We were then headed to the safari so we stopped and got a fast pass at the machine for the Kali River Rapids. Waited in the stand-by line for the safari since it was only a 20 minute wait. After the safari we rode the Rapids, went to Everest and used our pass. We decided to use our family fast pass for Dinosaur.
Needless to say having a dream for us that day saved many hours of waiting in lines. It was also funny to see our son act as a VIP. He was telling everyone and I mean everyone that we got to open the AK that day.
Something that we will remember and treasure as a family for many years to come.
Here are some pictures from our magical day.....
Quick question - when you said that you would save the FP for TOT for another day I thought that they are only good for the date that is printed on the FP.
