BTW, It makes me sad to see the envelope hanging from the resort doors. Even if I see them on my first day there, I always feel bad for the occupants and their last day at WDW.

I would buy your book too. You do have a gift for writing.

I just found out that I get to crash my parents trip in September!! I sure wish there was a NEW BOOK out there that I could read!!!
I can't believe you are almost finished with your TR!! I have been enjoying it so much... the whole time I was reading your Pre-TR I was counting down the days until you went so that I would have something good to read. Now I guess I'll just have to wait for the book.

Another lurker coming out of hiding.

I cannot believe the whole family got on the bus with the wheelchair! There were 25 of us there in 2006, one in a wheelchair. The wheelchair and mom were the only two who got on with the wheelchair and the rest of us got in line with everyone else. We would never even consider trying to break the line. We just met them at the bus stop on the other end or they waited to load when we got to the front of the line.

Lesley, I am enjoying your trip report and hate to see it end. Can't wait for the book!!

I too am sorry to hear the trippie wil soon come to an end. The upsides are that (a) I am closer to going now and (b) you'll get to write another pre-trip soon! (I hope)

declansdad and I have picked up many great tips while reading your reports and another one today . We have an ADR for 6:50 at Mama Melrose but not the F! package. Glad to know we may still get seats (depending on the service)

Lesley, Have you ever considered joining DVC? DH and I signed up about 2 years ago, we purchased just the minimum number of points (all we could afford, really) but it's enough to get us 2 trips a year (4-5days per trip). It's really wonderful because it "forces" us to go! We pay for the points, so we gotta use 'em!

Hey Susie, yes we have but we use tax money every year to go (I know, not the best plan, but it works for us) and we couldn't afford the monthly installments right now, but it's definitely in the cards for our future.

I'm liking the pics of POFQ!!! I just showed DBF (we are 19 days out now!!! ) and he said 'wow, looks nice'.

I have seen Fantasmic 2 times and I never noticed Steam Boat Willie was driving the boat at the end...I'll have to look this year. Seems like they were having minor technical problems the night you were there. We have the FDP booked so I am hoping all goes smoothly for us that night

It is nice, POFQ is just a beautiful resort. Oh yeah, keep your eye out for Steam Boat Willie, so cool how he's black and white at the top. Good luck with your FDP! Have an awesome trip!

Thanks for another great post. I love that you are bookin' along so quickly, but for my own selfish reasons I was kinda hoping that your TR would take a little longer so it would make our countdown seem to go faster. We are VERY excited about going in Dec. BUT we have never waited that long and since our trip was last Sept. we are cravin' the magic sooooo much. Thanks for helping us all live thru your TR your pics and reporting are GREAT!!!
My DH sounds just like Tim, he talks to everyone all the time. He too talks to the CMs. In my opinion you should consider including that in your book. The CMs make the magic possible, but not everyone treats them that way.

So glad to hear that you didn't miss Fantasmic, it is also my FAVORITE show in the world. Thanks for the great pics.

Sorry if this was already asked, but what type of camera do you have? DD has been asking for a digital cam so that is the perfect opportunity for ME to get a new one and pass on my old one to her!!

So glad you enjoy it so far, I'll keep that in mind about including the CM thing in the book, good idea. Isn't Fantasmic GREAT!!! We have a simple Samsung digital camera 5.1 megapixel, works great for us, we took that video of Lauren with it too.

What a nice afternoon you all had at the pool! I do like the pool area at POFQ... it is a lot different that POR. We always went and hit POFQ at least once for a swim... not this trip though
Glad dinner was good...and so happy you got to see Fantasmic! I really that show, but I doubt we make it this trip! Can't believe it is your last full day already-looking forward to reading about it!

We did have a great afternoon, POFQ pool is just awesome. Fantasmic may freak Hannah out a bit, maybe when she is a bit older. Lauren still talks about the witches.

Ya really ... if anyone is going DVC is should be you guys.... its expensive but evens out in 5 years....and I think you guys are going to Disney another 5 times more or so......

Yeah, glad you are caught up. We're going in June now, a pre-trippie will definitely be in the works at some point, so there shouldn't be a MAJOR gap here for you guys. I'll work on an installment soon to wrap things up here, we leave to go to Grand Haven Michigan this weekend so i gotta get it wrapped up for everyone before then.

WOW, we are nearing the END???

I loved the F! installment. I have never ever seen F! and can't WAIT to see it (we are also doing Mama Melrose and TIm's Calamari and Tiramisu caught my eye--thanks for that )

Can't wait to catch the rest. I can't get over what a doll Lauren is. I love seeing how bright her smile gets throughout her photos. You guys seemed to have a really amazing trip--IN JUNE...It is possible even if I never wanted to believe it lol

Oh, you are going to LOVE Fantasmic. Enjoy Mama's, it is good! Lauren is my beautiful baby girl, she is such a blessing! I know, we make going in June the best it can be.

Hi Leslie! I was just wondering, how old is Lauren? My dd turned three in January and we are going in August and she wants to do Splash Mountain so bad (probably from seeing her older dbrothers do it!) She is about 39 1/2 inches so she just misses the cutoff! But on the off chance that she grows a half an inch before we leave, I was wondering how your little one did on rides like that and Soarin?

Thanks! And I absolutly love reading your trip report! My husband is a teacher too, but he teaches summer school so we never get to go until the last two weeks of August. Then he starts school again after Labor Day. We are going for one week at POR and then heading to Summer Bay time share for our 2nd week and to use up the last of our 10 day hopper! We went last August too, with ds(8), ds(5) and dd(2) and the littlest ds(who turned 1 at disney last year!) but now we are a whole year older and taller!

Hi Jennifer, Lauren is 3 and will be 4 in October, she was 36 inches last year and grew the 4 in a year to make it to 40, YES!!! So glad you enjoy the TR. Have a great time at POR and good luck on your DD getting taller!

Oh, POFQ is just a great resort all around. Not a Fantasmic fan huh? Yes, it is a huge crowd, well to each it's own, Disney has a magic something for each and every one of us. MK tour report coming soon.

disney so many times even when they were grown.
DH and I went without them once them and though
we had a great time, something didn't feel right....
like we were missing something!! Take them while
they are young and enjoy and treasure all those

Your trip reports are wonderful. We leave for Disney on Saturday and now I have to make plans to go into Downtown Disney and get the Princess ponies for my daughters. They will love them!
I wish that we could come to Disney more often. This will be my girls first trip. It takes a while to save up money for Disney on a teacher's salary. Oh well, makes each trip even more special.
