Aw, that sounds like such a sweet idea. I love:love: the song from Sleeping Beauty....I think it is called "Once Upon a Dream"...you know----

"I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream...."

ETA---a few other good ones are "So this is Love" from Cinderella and "A Whole New World" from Aladdin.

Those are good, Daisy. Also "Can you feel the Love Tonight" from the Lion King. And "Kiss the Girl" from Little Mermaid. (although I don't know if that is something you'd want to use)

Hey Tim!

Don't know if it's the best love song, but Aladdins "A whole new World" might be a great one to change the lyrics into something like: A whole new Life ... you gave to me" or something like "you have showed me the world (Disney World) ....
Whatever ... just some suggestions :)

Great report so far!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I enjoyed it so much, can't believe it's almost at the end...

Great Trip Report :goodvibes

Was that really the line for The Rock n Roller Coaster in your picture (Day 8)...I dont think I have ever seen it go out there far?!!! :scared1: Then again I usually go in Oct and early May. Or was that line due to the fact that it was not running earlier in the week!!! anyway just curious..you are lucky things work out so well for you with the child swap.

Happy Anniversary!
When I saw your question the 1st 2 that jumped into my head were "A Whole New World" and "Bella Notte" from Lady and the Tramp. Love the other suggestions too.

Just caught up on the rest of your trip report! I'm loving it. The details and pics are great. Sounds like you have a really wonderful family!

BTW -- When I posted on July 2nd that I had just found your TR and spent 3 hours reading it, I actually ended up going into labor a few hours after posting!!! LOL

Can't wait for more! I don't want your TR to end -- it's too much fun to read!

Hey everyone, thanks for the song ideas. Today is our 9th anniversary, I decided it would be a little impersonal just posting a song on here for Lesley so I wrote her a sweet letter instead (for her eyes only) but I will show you for the right price:rotfl: . . .
I did do a new song to Whole New World, but it has a different meaning than our anniversary. We have been talking a lot (of course) about returning to the World next June, rates will be out any day now and Lesley will be a planning machine but we need to decide where to go. We've discussed going back to WL, buying DVC points and checking one of those out, going back to POFQ, etc. We'll be going in June so deluxes will be expensive so we'd only be able to afford about 7-8 nights there depending on which one. If we did POFQ or another moderate (also up for those suggestions too) we'd be able to do 10 nights again. So, here is my song helping you to help us decide where to stay next year, please vote on what where you think timandlesley should go next year. Drum roll please. . . .
I can show you Disney World
Shining, shimmering, splendid
Tell me, princess, now when did
You last let your husband decide?

I can open your eyes
Take you resort by resort
Over, sideways and under
On a magic Disney bus ride

A whole new resort
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no
Or where to go
Or say we're only DVC

A whole new resort
A dazzling place I never knew
But when I'm way up here
It's crystal clear
That now I'm in a whole new resort with you
Now I'm in a whole new resort with you

Unbelievable prices
Indescribable balconies

Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling
Through an endless bus line

A whole new resort
Don't you dare close your eyes
A hundred thousand things to see
Hold your breath - it gets better
I'm like a shooting star
I've come so far
I can't go back to where I used to be

A whole new resort
Every turn a food court line
With new swimming pools to pursue
Every moment red-letter
I'll chase them anywhere
There's time to spare
Let me share this whole new resort with you

A whole new resort
That's where we'll be
A thrilling chase
A wondrous place
For you and me

So. . . . . . what do you think? Any ideas on where we should go? Can't wait to read your oppinions. Gotta run, anniversary "stuff" to take care of if you know what I mean. ;)
Bye for now (Les will post tomorrow and answer your questions and hopefully another installment for ya'll)
Tim

Great song Tim!! Love it! How about ya start
the saving now and go for the Poly, otherwise
my vote goes to WL. No matter where ya decide
the magic will surround you once again!:thumbsup2

WAIT A MINUTE! I do recall *someone* mentioning the Grand Floridian for a tenth anniversary?? (Wow, i know too much about you guys, youre like family!) lol just kidding. Obviously, you want to stay more, so I say POFQ is such a lovely resort and go for it! HOWEVER, depending on point prices, it may be completely worth it to go the DVC way, imagine the possibilities! The kids will love SAB at Beach Club, and it may only be a few extra dollars than a moderate!

Tim,
My first thought is POR, different but similar to POFQ. More pool options, and the kids would probably love the log beds and trundle in the AB section. I also like CBR, room size is larger than POFQ, and I like the tropical feel of the resort.

Another option would be DVC. I have rented points, it cost me less than a moderate. We stayed in an OKW studio, very large, it sure was nice to have a microwave and patio. I can let you know who I rented from, my transaction went very smoothly. The DVC owner PM'd me after my trip to let me know that he doesn't always use all his points. He advised me to let him know when I am planning another trip. Points at OKW and SSR are less, but might be worth the upgrade to BWV, BCV, WLV or AKLV? Check out the points calculator to determine the number you would need. I was nervous about doing this, but did some internet research on the owner before commiting to the transaction.

My dream resort is Poly:cloud9: , everyone probably has a different opinion, maybe some day I will be able to justify the cost............

Happy Aniversary to you and Lesley, may you be blessed with many more.

I think you should stay at the Yacht or Beach Club. From this report EPCOT seemed to be the fav park... and MGM last trip. By staying at these resorts you can walk to EPCOT (MGM too) or take the boat. My stay years ago at the Yacht was so wonderful- there is nowhere I would rather stay! (Someday we will stay there... when my girls are older!)Plus the pool area is to die for and your kids are big enought to really love it! It is worth a day just to spend poolside!

Happy Anniversary

I haven't stayed there, but after "resort shopping" in June, my vote would be the Poly or else go back to WL again. Of course, we LOVED AKL, but I think we would prefer the proximity to MK that those other resorts would bring, plus the theming felt more "Disneyish" to us than BC. We just did not feel any magic from the theming at the BC - felt like we could be in any nice hotel, anywhere and your counter service/snack choices are limited there. While SAB is nice, my kids were not all that impressed and in fact said, "It's just a regular pool with sand in it!"

Hope you had a GREAT anniversary!!
