I thought I would start a new post on this since there are so many responses in the last one.

First of all, after viewing the video, there is one thing that is very obvious - Tigger was reacting to something that was going on behind him. Look where the boys arm and hand was, behind Tigger. What was he doing that would cause Tigger to react? Certainly I am not a high priced lawyer and don't have to be to see that. Could he be doing something to Tigger's uniform? Gee how hard is that to figure out? This stuff has to stop. I am hoping that Disney will stand up to this type of bullying from people who seem a bit greedy or want their 15 minutes in the sun. The sad thing is they probably will have to settle with the family just to keep the publicity down. If only they could stand up to some of these people to keep them from doing what this family and others have done. It makes me mad to see people try to take advantage of the perceived deep pockets that Disney might have. It also drives up prices every time A company has to defend itself against this type of accusation.

The boy should be spanked for what he was doing, and the family should be told to go find another vacation spot. Sadly the reality is that won't happen, and we will be stuck paying the price for some immature child and his greedy family.

If that was my son, it wouldn't have been Tigger whacking him caught on tape, it would have me pushing Tigger out the way to whack my son! That is such disrespect. The family should be embarrassed to release the video!

i thought the same thing especially when Tigger turns a bit like hes trying to get away and the kid just falls into Tigger which lead to Tigger trying to push him back to possibly keep him from falling into him...it's such a scam that's going on it's not even funny...people like this are so sad i worked at a theater years ago and a guy filed a complaint and said he was going to be suing the company because someone didn't put the seats to the chairs up as they were leaving

Another thing that bothers me about this ... little children believe in these characters - what would have happened if this boy had knocked the costume off Tigger's head - the enjoyment for all the little children around the character would have been ruined and the magic lost. If the boy was trying to "expose" Tigger then that's just not right and shame on him.

After viewing the video, I noticed the boy was laughing and smiling the whole time - even after being "clocked", yet in the interview, he was scared? When I'm scared I certainly don't smile and mug it up for the camera.

They were saying on the news today that after the so called "Tigger attack" the boy was taken to the Hospital complaining of neck pain....

I mean come on...neck pain... ...he was not even hit hard...if you want to even call it being hit...can't tell by video what really happened...

will be interesting to find out the scoup...the father needs some "Anger Management" classes....and he is making Disney a bad place with his attitude for his kids for the rest of there lives...

I will give the boy/family the benifit of the dought however, till the verdict is in...after all may be this Tigger has Rabies...only a sick Tigger would do what they are saying he did...however I do believe that Tigger will be cleared..

Here are the facts as seen in the video

Typical character photo op, thousands a day in Disney

All of a sudden the boy puts his arm behind Tigger alll ok for a moment and than the CM reacts, seems to be trying to get away from the boys arm

Its apparent the boys arm is either holding the back of the costume or has his hand hooked under the Tiggers collar.
(side note, there are reports, I have not seen or heard personally that the CM could not breath due to the fact the teen was messing with the back of the tigger head trying to pull the head off)

How many times have you seen character do this? I would say NEVER, the teen was up to no good, thats obvious,why giving him the benifit?

The problem with teens today is parents mentality

NOT MY BOY hes would NEVER....with the proof that is seen in this video its INSANE to me that the family get a PENNY for this set up SCAM

Disney is notirious for "getting it over with" firing cast members and paying settlements for things to "go away"!

Disney has this family by the neck on this one they need to stand behind the employee and fight them tooth and nail, its obvious this kid was up to no good, if the cast member can prove they could not breath this family will end up with a one way banning from Disney instead of money they DONT deserve

Ok this knucklehead kid with his black gloves on in 70 degree weather. Can you make that out in the video. I hear today his neck hurt. His ego is going to hurt a lot more when he's the butt of joke across town. Really, dad come on your son is nerdy and looks like a punk. With the chain hanging down and these black gloves on I'm sure he's not the head of the class or a jock. You, dad, just made your son look even more like an a**.
They appear with a lawyer saying they want an apology. An apology from Disney came from management. Money money and money is what they are looking for here. To me it sounded like dad had some run in with Tigger just moments before the video went on. Gee. The kid steps in and looks like he grabs the top of the costume. Tigger looks like he had his feet against the curb and felt something, moved back and tried to stop the "little innocent one" from doing what ever he was doing back there.
This is really dumb. How the kid was hurt by that when you see a smile on his face after the paw land on his face. Come on... Dad you just made yourself and family look like idiots. Yes, Disney will pay you off maybe $250000 for this and you'll have a nice new car and pay some bills, but you just lost any integrity you may have had.

I have 2 things to say about this.

In the video - anyone else notice, ever after being clocked the boys arm was 'stuck' back there? Whatever he was doing, his hand didnt easily come loose.

Secondly I saw one of the interviews with the dad and he said (and Im paraphrasing) something to the effect of "I thought my son had done something to Tigger to deserve it"

Now, if you have an angel child, who does no wrong, you dont first think he is to blame, then go after Tigger. This Dad should have went with his first instinct.
