People pay an incredible amount of money to live in Isleworth so that they can have privacy. There are many celebrities living there. They expect to not have their picture taken on their own property. The rent-a-cops are there to make sure that doesn't happen.
I rarely post over here but I had to say something about this. If the person taking the picture is not on the person's private property and aren't peeking in their window to take it then they have a right to take the photo. A memory card and/or camera are private property. An actual "real" cop cannot take them without probable cause and a search warrant. Rent a cops have about 1/3 of the authority people (and they themselves:lmao:) think they do and have zero right to demand your personal property no matter where you live or what you pay to live there. They could call the cops and claim you're being a nuisance but again even the cops can't take it.

That I understand. But if I paid that much to live there they wouldn't tell me when I could come & go and where I could and could not go. That was what the story I heard was saying. They were telling the residents, not the media, all of this.

If a resident took pictures and is willing to sell them to media that is a whole other issue. But if I had personal pictures on there they aren't getting my card. I don't care who they are protecting, especially if I didn't have my personal pictures saved yet.

Well, I've seen plenty of cars coming and going from Isleworth the past couple of days, so I don't think they are restricting the movements of the residents expect for possibly keeping them away from Tiger's property.

OT, if you ever get a chance to drive by Isleworth at this time of year, it is well worth it. There is a house that sits just outside the gates of Isleworth. It belongs to the first Mrs. Siegle (wife of David Siegle who came up with the idea of doing time shares). It is a huge mansion, but the part that makes it so neat is the way she decorates for holidays. This year, there are life-size toy soldiers standing along the fence, huge presents in the drive and big red bows on each fence post. The front porch (you have to look inside the fence) is also decorated with the toy soldiers. It is very cool!

That may be true, but I wouldn't want to be living in that neighborhood if the neighbors got wind that I was giving out pictures of other residents. Like I mentioned, those people pay a lot of money to live in a neighborhood where they can have their privacy and pretty much be left alone. I would think most people would realize this before buying there.

The neighbor who made the 911 call will be holding a press conference tomorrow morning.

That is a great house... SSB's fave of all time was one Halloween when they had life-sized characters from the Wizard of Oz atop the fences!

There are still a ridiculous number of vehicles and cameras just outside the entrance ... even one news crew at the Windermere post office trying to interview people.

It could possibly be household staff members. I'm sure they have nannys, housekeepers, cooks, etc.

I loved the Wizard of Oz decoration! She didn't decorate much last year. I was afraid she was ill or something bad had happened. I was so happy to see the decorations back this year!

I haven't driven past Isleworth today. I wonder if the news crews are gone.
