Kat, can you get the dye resist at Michales or ACMoore? Or did you have to order it? This will be just what I need for our cruise tees for this fall.
Thanks!
We used Dharma Trading Company dyes and followed their directions pretty close. I'm convinced that they come out so well b/c we use soda ash and urea.
The orangy color is actually Oxblood red, it does have a slight tinge of orange in it, but the pic makes it look more so.
Yes, my daughter wanted the whole OUTFIT for her bday at MK, so we did a skirt to match...do you see the little mini purple mickey head on it????![]()
We had SO many b/c this was our 3rd time and have ordered a couple times. The girl shirts for sure had: robins egg blue, turquoise blue, bubblegum pink, & hot pink. We also had Fuchsia red (which is really pink). We used Bright green, dark purple, oxblood red, orange (sorry, forgot which one and I don't have the dyes, my friend does) and brilliant blue. I think that's the majority of them. HTH a little!
Thanks for the instruction. Here are mine. I finished them yesterday.

Question... We are going to be doing MNSSHP for the first time this year, and I had read somewhere that someone wore a Mickey tie dye t-shirt, bandana, and called themself a 'hippie' for Halloween. I am going to be 7 months pregnant, so as little effort as possible would be great for me! I was wondering though... I have seen an image of a Mickey Head, but with lines going down it to make it appear as a Mickey Pumpkin Head (I hope someone knows what I'm talking about...). Is there any way to incorporate those lines into this tie dye t-shirt? I was hoping to make them a little Halloween-y... Thanks for any help anyone can suggest!!
