Tickets to buy for FOTL access?

Just wondering - if we get a room at one of the Universal hotels to get FOTL, do I have to buy the tickets from the hotel for the 2 day pass I want? Or can I buy my tickets anywhere and use it?

You can buy your tickets anywhere. They are not connected to the hotel in any way.

You can buy them anywhere but remember they are cheaper for the two day pass online. $99 online and $119 at the gate
