How can I find out what the deals are? Last year was an awesome military discount. Is the resident price good? is there a site that has them all? I am not finding what i'm looking for w/web searches.

For my girl Scout's trip coming in June, we are using military rates, because one of "my" families is retired military. I got the rates off the Shades of Green resort web site, where we are also staying, if it ever gets finished.

www.shadesofgreen.org

The Stars annd Stripes passes that we are getting are about $50+ off the rack rates.

Can anyone tell me what the Stars and Stripes Rates are? I dont have excel and it is an excel document? Thank you

I was just looking at that today! We just invited our daughters boyfriend along on our vacation and being a military man, he is going to take advantage of the discounts.

If you're eligible for both military and FL resident, the very best deals are to be had at Shades of Green, the military hotel. You can buy them when you arrive... no matter what type of ticket, they have the best rates on them!

What specifically are you looking for?

Think I saw you had another thread that you already purchased one PH pass....did you decide to give up on the miltary/FL rates or are you just finding out about them?

I printed all the ticket prices to compare as well- here are some:

4 day Park Hopper: (A) $192.50 vs 221.52 (C) $154.50 vs 177.86
5 day Park Hopper: (A) $222.75 vs 254.54 (C) $179.00 vs 204.48
5 day PHP (2plus): (A) $252.75 vs $286.49 (C)$204.75 vs $230.04
6 day PHP(3plus): (A)282.75 vs $318.44 (C) $228.75 vs $255.60
7 day PHP(4plus): (A)$312.75 vs$$350.59 (C)$252.75 vs $281.16

They also have Stars & Stripes tickets- their version of UPH for any Shades of Green eligible guest staying at any WDW resort. These tickets have to match your length of stay. They are less than the gate price. If you know your length of stay or need any other prices quoted I'd be happy to reply. You can also buy Universal/Sea World at a discount.

Forgot to mention- there are also discounts for FL residents on the Seasonal Pass, FL resident AP & PAP.

I called Disney and SOG and they said there were no military or Fl resident discounts for when we are going  so I just got the first on at the Disney Store.

Here is information related to all WDW ticket prices, including availability of military discounts. http://allearsnet.com/pl/ticketchart.htm Note that technically SoG is a Federal reservation and therefore the normal 6.5% Florida and local sales tax is not charged. Tjherefore, in addition to some discounted prices, there is the automatic savings of not having to pay the Sales Tax.

Sorry you got the wrong information. I guess someone's training program had a few holes in it!! Tickets are always discounted at SOG....they don't come and go like room discounts. Why don't you save your money (even if you have to put it in an envelope under the mattress so you don't spend it) and get them at SOG when you get there. It's really the best deal going. I know lots of folks like to have everything "in hand" before they go, but SOG doesn't sell tickets over the phone since they have to see an ID first. Just put the same amount aside each payday and get the rest when you arrive!

Just be glad you didn't buy them all yet!
HTH,
Katie
