Hi, Disers!! I have a friend who has asked where the best place to buy WDW tickets is. They are AAA members. I usually buy direct from Disney myself but I thought maybe someone might have a better idea. Thanks for any help!!!

Best price idea... spendy but works: 1) get the Disney Visa, 2) buy 4 of the 10 day no expiration date hopper passes on line: the Visa card will give you 6 months interest free to pay for the passes plus you get rewards points to use on your trip. (Said it was a good deal not cheap) BE SURE THEY ARE THE NO EXPIRATION passes and you can use as many days as you need each trip (I assume you will be returning) The other option is to buy annual passes, but only cost effective if you are in the parks 7-8 days each year

I noticed that undercover had a much better price than AAA, also. I have a question about tickets, tho. This is the first time we are purchasing tickets ourselves (we've previously stayed on-property with a package deal) and was wondering if we bought them this year would we be able to use them next year when we are actually going to use them?

As long as they remain totally unused you can use them any time and they will be valid. The first time they are used the 14 day clock starts ticking unless you purchase the No Exp. option.

So if you buy tickets now to use on a trip next year those unused tickets are good to go.

Question about bolded. You can??? I thought the 6 months no financing was for packages? Can you buy less than a 10 day no expiry?

This may change things for our May trip.

6 months no financing is only on packages as far as I know. I have AAA but got a better discount using the YES program.

I also believe there is some kind of parking pass that you can get from AAA. That alone would save you $15 a day and get you closer parking.

You will still need to pay for parking. The AAA Diamond Pass just gets you in a special, close area of the lot.

We bought AAA because we were able to walk out with the tickets and wanted the parking pass. Our tickets are plastic rather than Tyvek, but that may just be because they sell so few tickets at our office that they still have the plastic ones.

Generally, do not buy tickets with non-expiration. You do not need NE to buy the ticket now and use it later.

You can buy NE when you figure out that the ticket will cover at least two whole vacations. Less than that and non-expiration is usually a bad bargain. You can buy the tickets without NE and add the NE while you are down there if it takes that long to make up your mind and future plans.
