Tickets: do they adjust price/adding hopper?

I cannot find this info after searching sorry if I've missed it!
We have two days in the parks in October. One day at MNSSHP and the second day....we might not know if we want to add park hoppers or not until we get there. So in order to get FPP we want to but before our 30 days (offsite) what do we buy now? If you add hoppers to a MK it ends up being more money than a ticket originally purchased for say Epcot right? If purchased ahead.

If we buy a MK ticket and change our minds, no hopper, to go to Epcot do we get a refund? Or conversely can we go form Epcot to MK by paying the difference that day?

No refund but you can change up. If you have an Epcot ticket you can pay the difference to go to MK but they won't refund to go down a ticket. Same for ph if you don't have it and want to add it you can pay the difference if you have it and decide not to use it you cannot get a credit for it.

Not sure if you're asking this, but MNSSHP is a separate ticket that entitles you enter the MK at 4:00 that day and remain there till closing. You can't add another day or hopping to it.

And your FP booking will be based on the park ticket that is linked to your MDE. If you have an Epcot/DHS/AK ticket, you won't be able to book FPs for MK.

I would wait until you know for sure. There's only a couple rides out of all the parks that you need to book as early as possible to get a FP for. Vast majority of rides you'd be fine booking a week or two out.

Yes, thanks! I think I will buy Epcot,and pay more for MK if we need.... because if we hop we want the new soarin ride and would do our FP at Epcot not MK wiht the assumption that we will see most everything we want during MNSSHP and that second morning.

i have a similar question... i booked an epcot 1 day ticket.. i was waiting to add hopper until that day- will i just get charged the hopper price or do i have to bridge the ticket price to mk 1 day ticket as well? we are starting day in epcot then going to dhs and finishing day in MK..........TIA
