This is our first trip as DVC members. In the past we have bought packages that included our park tickets and dining. I know that we will have to purchase these seperately now that we are DVC. BUT. . . I have REALLY enjoyed having all of this on one card, it really is the KEY TO THE WORLD that way. Is it possible to have our park tickets added to our room key after they have been purchased?

I am assuming that because we pay for dining at check in that will be added to the card then. I am also assuming that if we pre-order our tickets that they will be the paper tickets that I have seen others use :scared: which are not my first choice for tickets that will be in and out frequently, and it will be one more somthing to keep up with.

Can you tell I really like the key to the world philosophy?

The dining plan for your stay will be on your KTTW. And you can get them to add your tickets to your KTTW if you ask when you arrive. You just can't put APs on the KTTW. Those "paper" tickets aren't really paper. They are more like Tyvek and very hard to destroy.

So if I decide upon checkin to add MYW and DDP to my DVC stay, I can??

No, the dining plan must be added in advance - at least 3 days is what I've always heard. Admission tickets can be added at check in.

So if I pre-order my park tickets to get the discount, they send my the "paper" tickets, I can take them with me to check in and they will add my tickets to my KTTW card?

or

I HAVE to get my tickets added at check in and give up the pre-order discount?

Sorry I feel like I am having a DUH! moment.

Thanks.

Any physical admission ticket can be added to the KTTW card.

We ordered our tickets from a discount ticket broker and they were paper but they put them on our KTTW cards at check in with no problem.

:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: When in doubt ask the dis-gurus. Thanks to everyone who helped answer these questions! It is funny that everyone who knows me seeks me out to be their personl Disney travel planner. They just don't know that when I don't know I find my online friends for help. Thanks again.
