TicketRes Office? Update (02/25/01) question for Webmaster John-see last entry

Does anyone know where the Office is, if you buy your tickets from here and want to pick them up rather than have them delivered to your hotel. Also does anyone know how far in advance you have to order your tickets? Thanks!

Hi TimNDansMom

The location where the TicketRes passes are distributed is on route 535, down the road from the Crossroads entrance to the Walt Disney World Resort (i.e. Hotel Plaza Boulevard). Once your order is completed through TicketRes, our system will provide you with complete and comprehensive directions to that location.

There is no limit as to how far in advance you can order your tickets.

If something happens and I have to cancel my trip, will you hold my prepaid tickets until my next trip? The reason I ask, is that we are driving down for our March Break and I'm mainly concerned about the weather (a major snow storm). So I would probably want to buy the tickets only 2 or 3 days before we arrive in Orlando. Is that too short a notice?

It really depends on how far in advance your next trip would be. While buying your tickets 2-3 days prior to your arrival would not be a problem, holding onto them for, say, a year might be.

What I would suggest is placing your order as if you anticipate no problems - then see what happens. The worst that could happen if you could not make it to WDW would be you would have to cancel your ticket order (all monies would then be returned to your credit card) and you would then have to place a new order when you rescheduled.

Sorry I couldn't give you a more definite answer but since the tickets are being supplied by a another party (Official Ticket Center) I wouldn't want to speak for them in this "what if" scenario.

Thank you John! You answered my questions: I can buy them 2 or 3 days before I arrive and if I couldn't make the trip (heaven forbid! ) I could get a refund and reorder later.

I'm just a little paranoid because we've never driven south this time of year and there's been some big winter storms around! We only have a week to do this trip, including two days driving each way and if we lose a couple of days because of road closures, it wouldn't be worth going.
