Hello all,. We are leaving for disney on Oct 17th. I placed an order for four tickets to disney. On sept 14th, Well, they said they will be shipping on the 22nd, and will arrive around the 30th, give or take. I thought the shipping date said 8- 12 days. Well, when I count, I get 16 days. From order date to tentative arrival. Now, my question is this. I have 6 more tickets to buy. For family, and friends. Leaving with me on Oct 17th. They will have thier monies for the tickets on Sept 23rd. But, I read on ticketmainia. That they don't ship on the weekends. So, assuming I will be placing the order on sept 26. Am, I right to assume that thier tickets will take 16 days as well. Is this the normal range. If, it is. Do you not think that, this is cutting it pretty close. I would hate, for us to be leaving, and thier tickets, have not arrived yet. What do you all think, I should do? Any inputs, are greatly appreciated. TIA

Are you including Sat & Sun in your count? Ticketmania expressly states that Sat and Sun are not Business days, there it is 12 days from the day yu order until their expected delivery. If you order the additional tickets on the 23rd of Sept they should be delivered on/about Oct. 11, assuming 12 business days to receive from day or order.

Did you notice the delivery details? You could always pay extra for faster shipping if you're concerned you won't have the tickets in time. You can also pick up at the store or have them delivered to your hotel.

Local Hotel Delivery Not enough time to have the tickets mailed, we offer Hotel Delivery, but please order them at least full 2 Business days in advance. We make you up a Welcome Package/Media Package, that includes your Ticket Order, Brochures for the Parks that you ordered, as well as several local area Vacation Guides and Maps, and coupons for Shopping, Dinning and other Attractions. We deliver your Welcome Package/Media Package to your Hotel on the morning that you are checking in, that way it will be at the front desk waiting for you when you check in.

Remember when you are figuring days that they do not count Saturdays and Sundays as they are not business days. So Sept 14 - Sept 30 is 13 days (if you count the 14th) or 12 days (if you don't count the 14th). I have always received mine earlier than they said (I think they pad it a bit since they can not guarantee how long it will take once they mail it). I would think it would not be a problem for your friends, however, if you are nervous about it, you might want to think about arranging a pickup at their office or have the tickets delivered to their hotel.
