Ticketmania Problems... :(

I feel soooo horrible right now...my friend is coming to our wedding and wanted a good price on a PHP ticket.
I checked around here and on mousesavers and all reports on ticketmania were great..no one had problems.
So I recommended them to her. BIG MISTAKE.
She ordered a adult 5 day PHP with 4 options (a special they had). She ordered it at the end of August and it just got here today.
Well guess what---they sent her a childs 5 day PHP with 4 options...WHAT THE HECK. I can't believe they would send the wrong ticket.
She tried calling them and no one is there right now, she left a mssg.
They had better make this right tomorrrow..my gawd they won't even have time to send her another ticket before we have to leave. I told her to demand they overnight it to her as it was there mistake.
So how do you all think they are going to deal with this?
I feel like such crap for recommending this company to her

Not to doubt you or your friend, because any company can have a problem at some point, but has she checked her comfirmation receipt to see that she actually ordered the ADULT and not the CHILD?

I can see where that would be an easy mistake to make because on Ticketmania's order form the adult and child tickets of the same kind are usually one on top of the other. If you aren't careful, it would be easy to order the wrong kind.

If it is Ticketmania's error, then I suspect they will work with you. They have an incredibly good reputation. See if they will deliver her ticket to her resort when she arrives.
 
Yes she checked-she ordered an adult.
She is very worried now that even if they say they will fix it-that the ticket won't be at the resort waiting for her.

Oh and I forgot to add that the print on the back of the ticket is barely readible-what is up with that?

that's really surprisingly. ticketmania is a top notch company. i'm sure they'll make it right.
sorry for the headache, but they really are reliable.
 
Hey Grover - I ordered and paid for 2 kids 5 +4 PHP in late August and when they arrived, they were 2 adult tickets! Maybe our two orders got mixed up!! I was considering just keeping them and having the kids use the adult ones since we were so close to our trip, but I emailed ticketmania and they emailed me back and said they were sending out the kids tickets to me with a SASE in the package for me to send back the adult tickets! It took about 6 days for their second package to arrive. I wasn't worried since I at least had the adult tickets if for some reason their replacement tickets didn't arrive in time. Also, since I live in Canada, they didn't send the SASE as they probably didn't know what postage was back to US, so they just enclosed $2 USD and I went out and just purchased a normal stamp back to US and sent the wrong ones back! Hopefully its resolved quickly to your friends satisfaction! Jo
 
Jo-anne...I am very happy to hear they worked everything out for you-I hope that they do the same for my friend. I actually said to her --perhaps they mailed someone else your adult ticket.
Gosh-I just won't feel at ease till she has her proper ticket-I feel so bad as I told her how great the company was from what I read here and other sites-I never found any negitive reviews at all. So we will see if they live up to their reputation!

I'm sure they will make it right. I placed my first order through Ticketmania last week--just a couple of adult DisneyQuest passes. The tickets were here less than a week later.

Besides, I doubt MouseSavers would be recommending Ticketmania unless they had a very good reputation. Give them a chance to make it right. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
 
They will work it out for her, they were very helpfull with all of our tickets, I was thinking there is also an option to stop in their office which is somewhere close to the parks, so maybe she could stop in there when they get in and swap the tickets.
 
I've ordered from Ticketmania several times, and won't hesitate to order from them, again. They really are a reputable company. I'm sure they'll take care of your friend. Relax. :sunny:

I have also used Ticket Mania and found them to be very reputable. There is an office near the parks where she may be able to pick up the Adult ticket if she requests a pick up rather than mail delivery.

Mistakes happen but I would bet Ticket Mania will make it right for her.
 
Ticketmania is great to work with. They will fix it for her.

Also, I work in customer service. I don't recommend she call and "demand." That always gets the call off on the wrong foot with me. If someone calls me and they are nice, I go out of my way to fix their problem. If they call and "demand," I do what is required but that is all.
 
Another vote of confidence for ticketmania, our tickets were delivered to the UK in 7 days with all the backs photocopied and loads of vouchers. Good customer service!
