Ticketing Comments on 7/21 Podcast

Some comments on the Theresa section of the Podcast.

One is that for an upgrade it does not matter how many days are used on a ticket; the current gate price for the ticket is what is used for the upgrade, even if all Park entries have been applied.

The other is that the ticket can be pulled from the KTTW and this can be done at the Resort, not a Park. If it is not done and an upgrade is done to an AP it can mess up the Dining Plan on the tickets.

Just a question - I have a KTTW card from April that I didn't use for the parks. I had an AP, just bought the package for the $500 gift card bc I knew I had to buy a new AP soon anyway. I'm going in 3 weeks and am going to upgrade that to a DVC AP. Can I not do this at a park? There is no dining or anything else on the Key card. Just checking... Thanks!!!!

If it is an old KTTW there is no problem.

Where the potential problem lies is with a current KTTW with an active Dining Plan. In some circumstances when the KTTW is upgraded to an AP the DP will get messed up or stripped from the card and a new card has to be issued at the Resort.

If you don't mind answering this, I have a question Cheshire Figment.
We're staying at CSR for 3 nights with free dining and a 7 day parkhopper. We will then be checking into BCV on rented pts with deluxe dining. As long as all of my dining credits are used by the time we check into BCV, they should be able to transfer my ticket days left onto BCV KTTW card....correct?

Is there a better way of doing this?
