Ticket upgrade question

Is it possible to get an exception and a ticket upgrade over the phone, or am I just better off saving my current ticket for my later trip and just buying a new one?

Did you purchase your ticket through Disney? My TA was able to add days to my ticket no problem. And add park hopper, on different trips. I think you only have to do it there if you purchased through an outside seller.

If you purchased your ticket directly from Disney and it is linked to your MDE account, you can call and ask for the ticket to be upgraded.

If you purchased it from a third-Party seller, Disney can't upgrade until you reach a ticket booth or Guest Relations on property.

Thanks. I did purchase directly. I need to add an additional 3 days to my ticket, and didnt want to make another trip to Orlando just to upgrade.
