I feel silly, but I'm kinda new around here. DH & I are disagreeing on what transportation is available at the TTC. Are there buses from each resort here - or - are the resort buses dropping off at the MK entrance near the CR? If we stay at the PVB, can we hoof it to the TTC to catch a bus to another destination?

TYIA!

You cannot get buses from the TTC.

Where are you trying to go?

From the Poly, you can monorail to the MK. Walk (shorter) or monorail to RRC and take the Epcot monorail to Epcot. Bus to HS, AK, and Disney Springs. To get to other resorts not on the monorail, take the monorail to MK and get a resort bus from there.

What is PVB? Are you staying in a bungalow at the Poly? The Poly has buses to the other parks and Disney Springs. The only reason you might walk to the TTC is to catch the Epcot (or MK)monorail. If you want to go to another WDW resort, Winthrop was correct : take either the monorail or resort launch to the MK and get the resort bus there.

Its just a debate DH & I are having. He has old info on transferring everywhere from the TTC, and doesn't actually believe me. I thought others may help convince him. Thank you! I even tried showing him the picture on the MK map where the resort buses let off!

Your DH is wrong.

I think there may still be buses from the TTC to AK and DHS very early in the morning, before the parks open. There wouldn't be any reason for someone staying onsite to take them, though.

The busses there are from offsite hotels. It used to be there were DHS and AK busses but they now pickup at MK. Downtown Disney busses were discontinued over 10 years ago due to people using them for free parking.

I was actually curious about this also - 3 weeks ago we went to Trader Sam's and left to just miss the last monorail to MK. The monorail CM saw us looking sad (lol) and came over. He told us we could either go to Disney Springs (which we knew, but were hoping to avoid) or try to grab a bus at the TTC. I didn't know if it was something they offered during times of year when the parks close earlier at 8pm or something, I'd never heard of it before.

Don't recall if there ever were Disney's resort buses terminating at the Ticket & Transportation Center but if so, the passenger loads on the monorails and ferries led to a quick change to put bus platforms at Magic Kingdom proper.

For awhile there have been shared buses for Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian for Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom and these stopped at TTC also.

Officially, buses (probably the monorail, too) do not take guests to a park that is closing. Thus CMs suggest making connections at Disney Springs that late in the evening.l
