Sorry if this is already posted somewhere but I've just started looking at the board again.

I used to go to Disneyland a lot as a kid but I've never taken my family and my husband has never been nor the kids.

Things are a lot different now, so I have a ticket question. I read somewhere that you can buy your 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 day ticket and that the base price is included in the ticket and the more days you buy the better as the base price was already paid for. So my question is I've read how you can take one of those tickets to the gate after it's used and add days to it. How does that work? I'm planning to buy a 5 day ticket when we go but will probably go a couple days longer than that.

DLR doesn't do longer than the 5 days any more. Unless you get an exceptionally nice CM. There is too much fraud so they stopped selling anything more than 5 days. If you do want to try it go to the ticket booths and ask the CM there about it. You have to do this before the last day of use.

If I do this before the last day is up what do they charge?

As far as I know they are not adding more days to a 5 day hopper so there is no way to tell you how much it would cost... if you search the DL threads there are a few threads all about this and so far from what I gather the CM's are not adding a 6th day.

Here is one of the threads:

Hmm... in that case maybe I'll buy an annual pass.

I think thats what a lot of folks are deciding to do, some are doing it through the way.com website that I believe is mentioned on one of the threads, just to save a few bucks off the AP regular price. At least with an AP you can get discounts at certain spots onsite to recoup some of your extra expense!

I really hope that at some point they add the 6 day ticket back!
