We've stayed on site in all our past WDW trips and just gotten the "length of stay" pass. For our trip this Nov. we've already booked our room (POR, Alligator Bayou) . We planning on buying 6-day park hopper plus passes instead of length of stay. To save about $250!!

My question is can we "park hop" as much as we want in a given day; i.e. AK in a.m., MK mid-day then Epcot after dark all in the same day like you can with "length of stay"??? Thanks for your help!!

Yes, if you have a park hopper you can hop all day long if you'd like =)

Yes you can. I think that the only real difference between the two other than the amount of days (and of course you have to pay for those days) is the pluses on a park hopper plus do not include Disney Quest.

Yes that's why they are called park hoppers, LOL no really they work the same way.
