Ticket question

We are AP holders, so I haven't had this issue before. We bought a 1 day ticket for a friend to use tomorrow at Epcot. My confirmation is an email that says "simply to go the park entrance and show your confirmation email ". Do they mean the actual entrance, or the ticket booth? I ask because I haven't seen anyone showing their phones or printouts to at the entrance.

If the background on the barcode in your email is blue, you can go directly to the touch points and the main entrance CMs can issue the ticket.
