If you buy online tickets (I'm looking at a Flex Ticket for my niece) it says that you get a coupon book for any multi day park to park tickets. Does that include Flex or are they not included?

If they are included, is there any disadvantages to ordering online tickets?

i would assume any multi day ticket purchase would be considered.

no difference from ordering online.

pick up the
coupon booklet at any of the stores in the parks or at guest services.
show your multi day pass and letter of purchase (or confirmation)

I don't have a cell phone so would a confirmation # work?

If I do the online tickets, do I have to print at home or can I just go to a ticket window and get a smaller ticket to fit inside a lanyard?

I thought I had to purchase a package to get this coupon booklet (so I never even considered ordering the tickets through US) I was going to order the Flex Ticket with Undercover Tourists but since we will be at Cabana Bay for 9 nights the coupons would come in handy.

sometimes it is advertised you need to buy the package for the coupon booklet.
sometimes i have seen buy the multi day tickets on the site.

not sure what the current program is now but many claim they have picked up the coupon booklet in the shops.

i looked at them in october when i was last there.
my ap did just as well for the discounts.
for a family though, it is good for some coupons are kids eat free on selected menu at certain places.

I just don't want computer paper as the ticket for 14 days. I know that won't last well since we plan on doing US/IOA, Aquatica and SeaWorld. I sent off an e-mail to check. I will post back so if anyone else is wondering they will know the answer too.

I don't know if my ticket is upgradable and they couldn't tell me over the phone when I called (from my parents as they have free calling to the US). I will have to wait and see if I can upgrade to an AP when I get there.

A flex ticket will not be upgradable since it involves more than one park.

Yes I know that one isn't upgradable. I have a 7 day park to park ticket that I redeemed from AirMiles that I would like to upgrade to an AP if I can. I will purchase a different ticket for me for Aquatica and SeaWorld. I still need to get my niece a ticket and the Flex ticket works best.

Ah, I didn't realize you were talking about a different ticket. We've upgraded 3 and 4 day air miles tickets to APs but not sure how they will handle the old 7 day ticket for an upgrade.

Since we are staying at CB for 9 nights it would be great if I can upgrade to an AP so that we can go a few extra days or take a day off in the middle to do something else.

Last fall they were giving credit for a four day pass when exchanging from the old seven day tickets

I have no idea how they are handling it now

Policies change and guest service probably would work with present policy at the time a person exchanges the 7 day passes now

I will say that the coupon book deal is the same as it was in 2011. Last time we went (2011) we bought the tickets online on Universal's website (for a 3-day park to park) printed them out and went inside the park to get the coupon book.

If I remember correctly we probably used 4 or 5 coupons. Back then you could use your AAA membership card (without having to buy your tickets through AAA) so we found that we used that more since a lot of the coupons (at least back then) a minimum purchased was needed whereas the AAA discount did not generally speaking.

Personally the paper tickets weren't a big deal for us. We folded them up and put them in our bag that was designed for scubba divers (so pretty darn water resistant) that we had with us which also held our cell phones and cash/cards.

Well who ever was reading my e-mail did not read it! This is the response I got:
Thank you for contacting Universal Orlando® Guest Services.

At this time, we do not mail out the $150.00 resort-wide savings coupon booklet in advance. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please be assured, you may visit Guest Services upon your arrival, with your online ticket confirmation number and your valid photo identification, to obtain your coupon booklet.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to call us at (407) 224-4233, option four (4).

Again, thank you for contacting us. We look forward to entertaining you.

What I asked was this: I have a few questions regarding the online tickets. I'm interested in purchasing Orlando Flex Tickets and want to know if they qualify for the coupon book offer if purchased online. I see that the tickets can be printed at home, but can I pick them up at Guest Services? I do not have a cell phone to show confirmation.

I guess I will have to make a trip over to my parents house to call (free calls to the US) and get answers to my questions.

well squirrel that reply suxs.

send another email and simply state:
does the orlando flex tickets qualify for the $150 resort wide savings coupon booklet?

to pick up the booklet, go to GS once you are at UO and give the confirmation order number and a valid photo id.

that's my suggestion but if you get another emailform letter back, then use your parental units phone.

The other question is about the Flex Ticket, can I get them at GS if I order online or do I have to print at home? We will use it for 14 days so I would prefer an actual ticket over a piece of printed paper.

Email them again and have them call you with their response. That way you can ask whatever other questions you have.

I did leave my phone # last time but I just sent off another e-mail and tried to make it as brief as possible but still asking the two questions I have. I will let everyone know what I find out.

Well I guess I will have to make a trip over to my parents as I got the exact same response as the first time I asked. Hopefully a phone agent will be more helpful.
