ticket question with DVC

I will be taking my family in Nov./Dec. There will be 19 of us (my 4 have AP's. We will be there from Sundat thru Thurs. My question is this---if I get them the UPH with the 10%DISCOUNT can they take off Sunday --we won't get there until late and we want to do MVMCP. Can they also take off Thurs. as we will be leaving that morning? Thanks

you might be better off getter hopper passes that will not have any begin and end date. If you look around the internet you can find some good prices on them. (Ex. mouseplanet.com, mousesavers.com, themouseforless.com) Compare those prices to what you would pay for the UPH passes.

They will take off a day at the beginning or end of your stay no problem. I have even heard that sometimes they will take off both. No sense paying for a day you're not going to use.

Most DVC front desk CMs will allow you to drop both the day of arrival and the day of departure when you purchase UPH tickets. Many posters here have reported doing so. I doubt it will be a problem.

Yes, you should be able to do exactly what you describe. I've heard many times that the policy of "dropping" arrival and departure days is sort of an unofficial practice, but have yet to hear someone report problems with it. The one time that we used the UPH, the CM that checked us in asked if we were going to be leaving early on our departure day. (Obviously she knew we didn't want to drop the arrival days since we were checking-in at 9am )

The only thing that might give you problems is your desire to drop BOTH the arrival and departure days. I've read rare reports of some CMs not wanting to let people drop both of those days from the "Length of Stay" pass. If it happens to you, politely ask for the manager and I suspect the problem will be easily rectified.
