Ticket purchase and assigning

Hello, we are going to Disneyland Paris for the first time

We're WDW veterans and typically I can buy tickets either from Disney directly or even like UCT or something, then I can go into MDE and into my friends and family and assign tickets to people in my group.

If I buy tickets on the Paris site, how does assignment of tickets work? As far as I can see there is no friends and family area .. will it give me ticket numbers that I have to give to each person? Or do I have to pickup physical tickets on site or something?

I don't know about the ticket assignment question. The Disneyland Paris site says that you can message them via Instagram. That saves an international call. I asked about tickets and received a reply saying that the tickets won't show up on the app until 7 days before arrival.
