I have been looking for the best deal on park tickets and the best I can find is Ticket Mania.com.
example-5 Day pass £146.00 + free shipping to UK.
Does anyone know any cheaper companies?
Alot of them appear to be selling for less but then you have to add tax or shipping costs.
Any suggestions?
Lin

I've bought my tickets from Attraction Tickets Direct

The 5 Day Park Hopper Plus is £174 per adult and if you are buyingthe Orlando Flex-ticket at the same time then you get £10 off the cost of the Disney pass any time in April.

I had looked at ticketmania and converted the cost from dollars to pounds and they actually work out more than attraction tickets direct where I too have purchased mine from. There are one or two of these sites if you do a search on the net for UK companies.
You also get the tickets very fast, I ordered mine last Friday and received them this morning via Special Delivery (no extra cost).

We used ticket mania with no problems. The prices seemed OK to me (I checked everywhere) and you need to bear in mind many sites do not include the sales tax etc until the end of the buying process - and that includes 99% of the buy direct from the theme parks websites too. Ticket Mania send actual tickets, not vouchers and they arrived here within the week.

Simon V did warn against some company as they were not as 'kosher' as all that and had false DIS members posting their praises on these boards as well. I tried to do a search function for the thread but Search is turned-off at the moment. If I find it I'll put a link in here.

So, just check out who you use first.

Oh, if you want to check their prices for WDW passes you need to click on the Printer Friendly version - something to do with not being able to otherwise advertise their prices! A 5 Day Hopper Plus is £169 with ticket mania at a rough exchange rate of $1.52

I HAVE USED TICKET MANIA BEFORE WITH NO TROUBLE AT ALL AND FOUND THEM VERY SPEEDY WITH THE DELIVERY OF THE TICKETS, BUT I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULDN'T DO ME ANY HARM TO TRY AND SNIFF OUT THE BEST DEALS AROUND AND AS I ALWAYS GET GOOD TIPS AND INFORMATION FROM THESE BOARDS, I THOUGHT THAT THERE MAY BE SOMEONE OUT THERE WITH A SECRET STASH OF INSIDE INFORMATION!!!
NOT LONG TO GO NOW, ONLY 9 MONTHS TILL I SHAKE HANDS WITH THE MOUSE AGAIN:p :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Have you considered the 10 day pass a much better option than the 5 day hopper with more flexability @ £189 for adults and £151 for children it works out a better deal(virgin, and the flight shop are offering these). A bonus is disney quest, and a free character breakfast or meal, which IMHO is worth the £20 differance for a start.

YES. I'M SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING THE 10 DAY TICKET AS WE WOULD LOVE TO TAKE THE KIDS ON A CHARACTER BREKKIE AND I THINK WE WOULD ALL ENJOY DISNEY QUEST.
HAVE YOU DONE THESE TWO?
I DID THE EVENING CHARACTER MEAL AT EPCOT- I THINK IT'S CALLED THE GARDEN GRILL???
ANYWAY WE ENJOYED IT BUT FOUND THAT THE KIDS WERE A BIT TOO TIRED TO REALLY JOIN IN AND MAKE THE MOST OF IT.
DO YOU RECOMMEND A GOOD BREKKIE?
I THINK I LIKE THE SOUND OF THE ONE AT AK.
HAVE YOU DONE DISNEY QUEST?
IS IT TOO OLD FOR MY 8 AND 6 YEAR OLD?
ANY OPINIONS YOU HAVE WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED

Just remember that the current deals on 10 day passes for £189A and £159C have to be bought by May 31st and expire Oct 31st 2003...I think Lin and her family are going in January 2004?

Although I see Attraction Tickets Direct are doing a 10 day ticket valid until 30th April 2004 for £227A and £180C.

Neo's, i think now the 10 day pass has been introduced they seem to be doing offers all the while, although this current offer does expire at the end of may, there always seems to be another offer following closely behind, although it might not be this price, im sure that it will still be great value.

Harry, AK breakfastsaurus, is a great breakfast, good interaction for the children and the food was really good too. This time we are doing 1900 park fare at the grand floridian, as that has had very good reviews.

Disney quest is for all ages, and caters for everybody, my DS is 10 now, and he thought it was fine.

Jules;)

We purchased the 10 day world pass last year and we went to AK for breakfast and my kids absolutely loved it. My middle daughter had a nose bleed just as we entered and the server's were brilliant and very concerned. The breakfast is wonderful and you can go up to the buffet as many times as you want.
The character's are milling around all the time and have a strategy for going round the tables and not missing anyone out!!
We went to Disneyquest twice as it's great fun. My kids were then 8,6 and 3 and although the youngest couldn't do alot the other two enjoyed it immensely.
We have purchased the 5 day hopper pluses this year as we are going to Universal, IOA, Seaworld and Busch Gardens so it only leaves enough time to do of the disney parks 1 day each, with an option of doing one twicw if needed, but I would certainly get the world ticket again.

I have noticed that the 10 day ticket doesn't go as far in date as would be of use to me but i think i will probably be getting a good deal anyway if i pay a little more for it for next year.
I am trying to convince the rest of my motley group that the 10 day would be a great idea but they have never been before and i cannot make them understand how big this place is and just how many great things there are to see and do!!
if i get a 10 day ticket, do you think it would be ok to loan it out, to say my sister, so she could go to disney on a day that we would like to do something different (she only wants to get a 5 day pass ?)
Is there a way of Disney knowing?
lin

My Wife and I who are 25 and 30 respectively had a whale of a time in Disneyquest in 1999.

I think the design your own rollercoaster and ride it attraction was the best, although not after having eaten a 14" pizza between you !!!!

My greatest memory of Disneyquest is the 8 seater arcade game Daytona USA. There was this mid-late teen American kid on it all day and he hadn't been beaten, along comes moi and I beat him in the first race.

It was a personal duel after that, but we shook hands on it when I moved on to something else.

Great memories.

Harry the Spider - I've just looked at my tickets from last year and the adults have to sign the back of the ticket but they never checked it against a passport after the first use so I'm sure that it wouldn't matter if somebody else used it. We just put it through the machine and walked on through.
I think that the CM's would only question it if your sister tried using a child's ticket!!
They are worth the money especially if you have the time to have the breakfast and disneyquest. Last year we only went to the Disney parks so we used the full 10 days.

THANKS FOR THAT SHEILA.
JUST THOUGHT THAT IT MIGHT BE AN IDEA AS I DON'T REALLY WANT TO GO TO PLACES SUCH AS PLEASURE ISLAND BUT THE YOUNGER MEMBERS OF OUR PARTY COULD USE MINE AND DH'S TICKET TO GET IN .
I'M MORE INTERESTED IN THE CHARACTER BREKKIE AND DISNEY QUEST SIDE OF THESE PASSES FOR MY FAMILY.
IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE THE CHOICE OF WHETHER OR NOT TO GO TO THE WATER PARKS AS WELL AND IF WE DECIDE NOT TO GO - MAY BE A BIT CHILLY IN JANUARY, THEN MAYBE THE MORE HARDIER MEMBERS COULD GO ON OUR PASSES.
JUST THOUGHT IT MAY SAVE THEM A FEW QUID AS THEY ARE ON A TIGHT BUDGET, BEING NEW PARENTS, AND WE GET THE BENEFITS OF THIS PASS AS WELL.
