Ticket finger scan

my husband only uses one day off of one of the seven day passes, but the kids and I use 5 days of our passes, can one of us at a later date use whats left on his pass with 6 days on it because they were all activated at the same time? I would like to by four seven day tickets and save the remaining days for the kids and I for a later trip coz my husband only wants to go for one day.I don't really want to buy just a one day ticket coz I know the kids and I will be going back again.
Partly OT: Another reason why everyone should sign their passes. Your husband should keep his ticket for his own use later. If he did not sign it then some time in the future he may go to WDW for several days on his own (convention?) but by mistake grab one of the tickets with just 2 days remaining and then be stuck outside on the third day of his vacation. Or sooner if his finger scan was rejected and questioning reveals the ticket wasn't his, as described earlier.

We were at WDW in July and I had bought 4 7 day park passes at the Disney store. One day, my 16 yr old DD and her friend used each other's tickets just to see if the finger scan would work. They both got right in. :confused3
